Update (sorry, kinda long). *Update*

Is it ok if I update here? I made it out to C.crm Thursday night. I was a little nervous about traveling alone, but It was really easy. Got to the clinic early Fri for u/s and b/w and they moved all my classes (for genetic testing) and regroup to that same day (originally not til this coming wed), so I got a lot accomplished. It is so strange to be alone for so long! I spent the entire day yesterday wandering around the mall and stopped in the salon and got a new cut and color (thought I could trick my eggs into thinking I was younger if I covered the grays) and had a nice dinner out! Today I took the light rail into downtown denver and walked around for hours and sat in an old cool bookstore and bought a book and sat for hours reading and sipping a latte (decaf, of course). If I wasn't so worried about this damn ivf, I would say I'm having a great time. As for the 'other' stuff, I'm still very disappointed in my cycle. Had a low AFC to start with and as per the usual, I have 2 lead follicles that took off and all the small guys aren't catching up. Left ovary is pretty much on vacation. E2 is at 2000 (7 days of stims). Possibly looking at 8 total and that's pretty disappointing after my last cycle we had 12. I think I was really thinking positive after the great egg hauls from you other ladies on here, so I'm trying to adjust my expectations so I'm not so disappointed. The u/s nurse this a.m. said Dr may trigger me tonight and I was thinking of how to tell them that I refuse because there is now way in hell I'm triggering this early! Thankfully, she was wrong! I hoping to hold off to trigger tues, but we shall see. **UPDATE: had my ER this morning. We got 13! Dr. S. says some may be immature because he was only expecting 8 by u/s. Either way, I am happy with the number and happy it's all done! They had me do crazy, strange triggers: Novarel 10,000 IM followed an hour later with a ton of lupron, followed 12 hours later with more lupron. Just resting with DH today and hoping for the best! The bookstore sounds wonderful! I'm glad you're enjoying your time, but I'm so sorry that you aren't getting the results you were hoping for. But, if it helps, you are at the clinic with the best lab. I'm sure they will turn your 8 superstar eggs into 8 superstar embryos!

So good to hear an update from you! I am so impressed with how independent you have been out there. I probably wouldn't have made it out of the airport by myself, lol! I hope things are going well with your cycle. I know you are disappointed with the #'s, but don't count yourself out yet! Hopefully you will be in for a great surprise!!
