I'm boring and don't know anyone. Boo. But I live in the same city as Ryan Stiles (from Whose Line Is It Anyway) and he often attends shows at and performs at a local comedy club. I've seen him, but from what I hear, he's actually kind of rude to people who come up to him IRL. Bummer. My younger brother hangs out with his son, I guess.

I got autographs from The Newsboys (Christian band, awesome guys).

Also President Calvin Coolidge is a distant cousin. So that's cool...?

I met a lot of people at a hotel I worked at...served Oprah Winfrey champagne, served the queen of Ireland breakfast, met bob saget, the verizon commercial guy (he wears the glasses in real life!), and many others. Working in a big hotel is fun!

I lived in Vegas for a year.... And ran into a lot of famous people. (And dated a few...) I didn't keep in touch with anyone now that I'm married but it was a fun time in my life. Fun fact: I met my husband the week after I moved from Vegas.

I'm friends with Ron Davenport who played for the Miami Dolphins years back. I met Catherine Zeta Jones when she lived in Bermuda. I also house sat in her house before she and Michael bought it. Incidentally it's haunted . My ex played golf with Michael Douglas. My dad and brother met and briefly friended Hootie and the Blowfish just as their record took off. They played golf and partied together.

My cousin Stephen Curry plays in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors. He was on ESPN recently for getting into a fight during a game, which I thought was funny because he looks like he's 15 and can't even grow a decent mustache lol. ETA: I've met Esperanza Spalding, who shocked the world when she won the best new artist Grammy a couple years ago instead of Justin Bieber.

I sort of dated the Cablevision guy a few years back I recorded a commercial with Christian Slater, and Meryl Streep's daughter interned at our company last summer (I also run into Meryl at a Starbucks). I ran into the Olsen twins a couple of times, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Oh and Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie recorded an episode of their reality show at my old company and Nicole messed up my computer and almost ran me over with her bicycle.

I've waited on David Strathairn (A League of Their Own, Bourne movies). Hilary Clinton got married at an estate on the same road I live on and Bill had the SS pull the car over to say hello to us waving on the street. Annie Leibovitz also lives on my road and her kids ride at my barn. My DH did an estimate for work at Bette Midler's house.

A lot of celebrities live in towns nearby and have been to restaurants/the hotel in my town but I never seem to see them. I heard Ryan Reynolds was in town once, I would have liked to run into him!

I went to high school with "Jurassic Joe" (Joe Mazzello) the kid from all of the Jurassic Park movies. His parents were awesome and didn't let him have much of his money- except he drove a Z3 to school. That was about the extent that you knew he was famous (and his planet hollywood jacket)

I used to work with Warren Buffett. He always stocked the office with See's Candies (perk!).

And once as a kid, I met Neil Patrick Harris. I hugged him, sang him a song and cried. I bet I looked like a huge weirdo. What can I say, I was a huge Doogie fan.

Not related to any famous people that I know of but I met Travis Tritt (country singer) as a kid and also did a photo shoot for Coca Cola with Brave's baseball player Chipper Jones. Most recent celeb crossing was Chelsea Handler after her stand up at a local venue. I even got her autograph in her last book. Brad Wallock and Heather McDonald were there too for those who watch Chelsea Lately.

My aunt went to high school with kayne west. And one of our past brides(we did get wedding flowers) is dating phil vassar that is about as close ad I get to famous people.
Oh and I met Peter facinelli and got a pic with him

I went to school with Landon Donovan, we had 11th grade English class together. We grew up in the same town. He would always bring a soccer ball to class (and school in general) and keep it under his desk. Back in the day (1998/99) I used to think he was a weirdo, I thought he was crazy for bringing that ball everywhere he went...look at him now. My ex bf was best friends with him and Landon would always give away his sports sponsor money (Landon would get x amount of money to spend at the Nike store for example and he always gave it to my ex, this was over 10 years ago before he was so well known and makes what he makes).

 

I also lived in Vegas, like Whitney, but in 2004-2006. CRAZY city. Met a handful of celebrities who were all on something (illegal), and saw some crazy stuff! Good times. Dennis Rodman once told me to get the F out of his face, stay classy Dennis! I was at a club and my friends started chatting with his group of friends so I started chatting with him. He was one scary person to say the least.  

 

Living in Orange County I see the housewives out every now and then.

Oh almost forgot... I ran into Tracy Morgan at a crappy strip mall bar while I was in college. He was sloppy drunk and danced with my friends for a while. Before he left, he licked my friend's face as his way of saying goodbye. Ew. And funny.

My dh meets famous people at work sometimes (well, rather frequently). I've met Sia and Jon Stewart's wife through him. Apparently Jon Stewart's kids have used my husband as a character in their imaginary playing before lol I've attended a few of his work events and I remember Tory Burch was at one. I forget who else. He has also met the Japanese hot dog eating guy, and his favorite was Yogi Berra. He has a pic with Julianne Moore too. He makes me feel so lame lol

Oh, and lastly a coworker of his walks Hugh Jackman's dog. And he also knows mike Myers's dog.

I'd rather not share, as I prefer to not get too personal. I also kept my maiden name, which is the same as his. However, he played for the Celtics and Hawks back in the 50s and was also on the All Star team.

I made out wih Jonathan Toews (Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks) and buddies with Mike Seidel of The Weather Channel. I used to do on air Weather forecasting and met him in the business.

I also turned down Jack Ingram. I regret that decision. Heh.
