Diaper bag recommendations?

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a diaper bag? I'm having twin boys, these are our first children. I'm more concerned with having a bag that's big enough for everything we would need - I'm not as concerned with the "look" of it. Thanks:)

I love my boxy back pack by petunia pickle bottom. No need for the "abundance" size. I like how it rolls out to a changing pad. My twins were 3 and 4 for us, and these are the only diaper bags I've used. Amazing.

I don't have any specific recommendations, but do make sure whatever you choose has lots of compartments. Small ones for butt cream, hand sanitizer, pacifiers, etc and large ones for burp rags, diapers, wipes, blankets.

You also may want more than one - a big one for longer day trips and a smaller one for quick errands. At least that's my experience. Keep both stocked at all times so you can grab and go.

The bags I use are not actual "diaper bags" but messenger and backpacks that I've recycled from other eras of my life.

Also! Cross-body or backpack style are essential, IMO. Just something that sits on your shoulder won't cut it.

We BF, so when we bottle feed we have to keep the BM cold, so I have a small thermal bottle bag that I can tuck into the large diaper bag if needed (it's harder to tandem when out and about, so in some situations I bring BM bottles for convenience).

As a person that despises the size of diaper bags I would recommend that you get a small diaper bag or a large purse with a few essentials and keep another bag/container in your car with all the extra stuff. 
The bag I carry has two diapers, a small case of wipes, a thin changing pad, a water bottle, a small bag of snacks, my wallet, phone, and a small toy and a note pad. When they were small I'd throw in an extra onesie and two wash cloths as spit rags.
Anything extra (more diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, toys) was left in a hardside container in the trunk and restocked as needed.

A friend of mine got me a Thirty-One Bag for our diaper bag. It's huge.. and I love big bags.. my purses have always been enormous.

For a while I don't plan on going anywhere crazy, but will be nice to have the big bag for places like church/visiting family so I can chuck everything in there and just take it. I have a little backpack for my husband when he takes one with him somewhere.

I originally bought a hardly used JuJuBe Be Prepared diaper bag from another twin mom who ended up with two. When it came in the mail I was shocked at how humongous it was. I kept it but I also ordered a Vera Bradley Convertible Baby Bag and I love it. That will be my everyday quick trip bag. The Be Prepared will be my all day outing bag.

i am vera Bradley fan also....but I got the huge traveler bag as I tend to overpack.
