Vicks on feet?

Everything I read is conflicting. Vicks on bottom of DS's feet tonight to help him breathe?

At the very least it makes my kids' feet warm, which can't be a bad thing.
Not sure why or if it works...but it cannot hurt. So why not. Back, chest, feet.

The humidifier definitely seems to help....I forgot last night, and poor baby woke up with nasty cemented on boogers this morning!

I've also read that coconut oil mixed with eucalyptus does the same thing without the additives, so that might be worth a try, too. GL!

This is news to me. I just did chest.... and maybe a little bit under the nose.

I think it helps. I did it to myself last year when I had bronchitis, and I swear I slept better. Dont know why it works, but I'm a believer.

I read something about medications entering the body easier through sweat glands. I know with aromatherapy they like using the palms and soles of feet for essential oils. Maybe that is why vicks works on the feet? I really haven't researched it and have no scientific proof, just thinking here.
