Re: Vicks on feet?

  • I do it. Not sure if it works but just in case it does.
  • At the very least it makes my kids' feet warm, which can't be a bad thing.
Not sure why or if it works...but it cannot hurt. So why not. Back, chest, feet.

  • Loading the player...
  • The humidifier definitely seems to help....I forgot last night, and poor baby woke up with nasty cemented on boogers this morning!
Thanks ladies, I will try the Vicks tonight!

  • I've also read that coconut oil mixed with eucalyptus does the same thing without the additives, so that might be worth a try, too. GL!
  • This is news to me. I just did chest.... and maybe a little bit under the nose.

  • I think it helps. I did it to myself last year when I had bronchitis, and I swear I slept better. Dont know why it works, but I'm a believer.

  • I read something about medications entering the body easier through sweat glands. I know with aromatherapy they like using the palms and soles of feet for essential oils. Maybe that is why vicks works on the feet? I really haven't researched it and have no scientific proof, just thinking here.
