I am working from home today --- it's snowing, I don't feel good, etc.
Anyway --- I just was told (via email) that they are letting employees go at 1:00. It figures, the one day I work from home, they let everyone out early and I'll have to continue to work (since I'm already home). BEAT!
Re: Figures --- just my luck!
I don't know. My gut is telling me the boss would be ticked off if I stopped working. After all, I'm in the comfort of my home and the whole reason they are letting everyone go is so that they can get safely home.
I'm afraid to ask her!
Liam is 5!
She can run reports and see if I was active during the time. I don't know that she would go that far -- I doubt she would -- but I don't know if I'm willing to take that chance.
Hows this for luck...I wasn't supposed to work at all today, but while running between Target, Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma trying to get a million things, I got 3 texts and a phone call that I needed to get on line PRONTO because a million dollar client isn't happy and somethng needs changed.
NOT MY PROBLEM!!!
But here I am....working....on my day off. I just want a regular job that has regular vacations. This job blows when it comes to days off. I honestly can't tell you the list time I had a true day off...except for the day after I delivered MItch...the day I delivered him, I was finishing up work before going to the hospital....and i was back on line as soon as I got home from the hospital keeping up on crap.
Balllzzzz
Bummer
Happy New Year!?
