We are moving DS to a big boy bed after Christmas. He'll be 26 months. Do I need to find a little pillow or a regular adult one? Idk why I'm overthinking this. Thanks!

Catherine doesn't have one. I have no idea when Sam first got one, but he started out with a tiny one and quickly moved to a regular size. C probably won't get one until she asks!

I waited until my son asked for one. I got a toddler pillow from ikea. Small and flat, perfect for a toddler bed or crib. I just made another pillow from a bumper. Cut it to size, sewed up the ends and made some pillowcases.
If he is moving to a twin or full, I would just use a flat full sized pillow.
We have two toddler pillows from Ikea and we love them. DS sweats when he falls asleep so we always have the second one ready just in case they wash great/haven't fallen apart for us. DS has been using it since he was about 16 months old
I bought a cheap pillow from target for DS. It was on sale for like $4! Perfect since he drools & sweats so much. I've washed it & its holding up great. Been almost a year.
Re: what pillow does your 2 year old use?
So far I am happy with it.
