Opinion on two strollers

I've been doing some reading and research before I go register.
Everyone I talk to, family & friends, highly recommend the Snap & Go stroller which I love because it seems it will make life a little easier.
But now I saw the Joovy Twin Roo & it's the same concept except for the way the seats are facing.
Just looking for some opinions/advice on either of the two. Thanks!

Re: Opinion on two strollers

  • We originally were going to get the Baby Trend Snap n Go. When we went to Buy Buy Baby, the stroller guy sold us on the Joovy Roo Twin. Because of the way the seats snap in, the stroller in general is shorter (easier to manuever) and the carseats actually snap in where with the "snap n go" they need to be strapped in.

The Joovy Roo Twin is compatable with Chicco, Graco and Peg Perego.

  • I had the older DSNG version with my Graco (classic connect) snug ride 30's.

Once the girls reached about 5-6 months, their legs really grew disproportionately longer, so whomever was behind would get squished from the carseat in front of her. Both hated folding their legs, so we outgrew the DSNG rather quickly. Too bad because it was so handy.

So, it seems the Joovy version would allow you to get more use of it vs the DSNG for that reason, IMO.

  • Thanks ladies! I've been leaning toward the Twin Roo, just been trying to get opinions from people who have used them, etc. thanks.

My question would be, if there are baby legs sticking out from either side when they are bigger would there be a problem of their feet/legs getting snagged/banged as you walk by something?
  • Joovy Twin Roo all the way. I love mine and get compliments on it all the time.

  • Do you know what car seats you want yet?  I wanted the Graco Sungride 35 click connect - so I ended up the the DSNG - since the joovy twin roo from what I've read doesn't fit them.   I was actually also concerned they wouldn't fit in the DSNG - since I read mixed reviews on that - but I just put it together this weekend and tried it out and they fit perfectly!

  • I actually just registered today and I was trying to decide between the graco snug ride and Chico key fit - the Joovy doesn't fit the snug ride 35, but I looked at it with the 30 - I ended up registering for the Joovy and got the Chico keyfit 30 car seat.
