I love the sun. Except today it gave me a migraine w/ aura.
Do you guys notice the difference in winter sun (driving difficulty) vs. summer sun?
MH tried to tell me it was DST.
He's wicked smart, and full of shit.

I cannot drive during the day without my sunglasses. I'm the weird person you see with sunglasses on even when it's overcast...that light reflects off those clouds and HURTS!

And what's crazy is I have dark eyes. 

My head is killing me. Stupid eyes. 

It is never this extreme in the spring/summer. Screw you, beautiful, pretty sky!

These things are good: ice cream and cake, a ride on a Harley, seeing monkeys in the trees, the rain on my tongue, and the sun shining on my face. These things are a drag: dust in my hair, holes in my shoes, no money in my pocket, and the sun shining on my face.

I had LASIK like 9 months ago and ever since then the sun HURTS. And I'm often that weirdo who's wearing sunglasses when it's super cloudy, cuz the overcast here is fucking BRIGHT WHITE!

I got two pairs of the glasses you see here, one blue and one red. They are giant, chunky, plastic things but I love them!! They were $15 each and they have lasted 2 years!!



The glasses on my head look has become common lately. DS likes to see my eyes. Oh, the sacrifices we make. :P

The sun doesn't give me migraines but it makes me sneeze. My eyes squint constantly and my face scrunches up just right and I sneeze all the time.
So not helpful while driving.

I am not above wearing sunglasses inside- I'm like a blind cave salamander- I can't handle  direct afternoon sun through floor to ceiling windows!

Hope you feel better, Nancy, migraines are a bitch. I had an aura for the first time in a long time last month, but, I somehow missed the migraine pain! Sweating bullets for a little while, though- they knock me on my ass.

Thanks, sweetpea. Sorry I can't quote correctly. Yes, if I catch the aura soon enough, there's a headache, but not debilitating, It's the secret ones (with no aura or warning) that suck ass for me.

Ugh bright sun sucks ass. I wind up not being able to use one eye bc I cannot keep it open. Yup, sunglasses are a godsend. I am so glad I have contacts now. Fun sunnies! @sodomojo was the surgery worth it? I've had to wear corrective lenses since toddlerhood. No fun!

I'm the exact same. Everyone asks why I didn't want an outdoor wedding. I said that my vows wouldn't be as nice if I had giant sunglasses on and my DH squinting the whole time.

ETA: I love the sun though. I live in Hawaii!

I always have sunglasses on outside. It's just too darn bright. I also hate driving at night. My eyes need to adjust to the darkness first or all I can see is the light from cars, signs, houses etc coming at me. I hate that it gets dark so early in the winter.

My mom had eye surgery as a baby and has always had a light sensitivity. She has like 50 pairs of sunglasses. Ones for driving on sunny days, ones for driving on over cast days, etc... I have to have sunglasses while driving on sunny days, otherwise I can't see shit

I loved it! Well... the procedure freaked me the fuck out and the next few days sucked. It seriously took like 5 mins for the doc to fix my eyes. I had glasses and then contacts since I was 8. It's amazing to wake up and see what time it is on the alarm clock. The light sensitivity has been the ONLY thing I don't like. But my future's so bright.... I gotta wear shades.

The sun fuckin' kills my head and I need sun glasses all the time. I get the migraine with aura from the sun and computer screens.  Fuckin sucks!
