Hi ladies! Not sure if this thread has been started before, I couldn't find it via scanning or searching, but I love getting to know everyone on the boards and was just curious as to where you call home.
I live in Orlando, Fl. On the plus side Today we had our first cold day (read: 65 degrees) and I was excited for that. Long sleeve tee time, woooo! On the minus side, Unfortunately, I live about five minutes from Disney and one minute from a major outlet mall, so traffic is getting terrible this time of year.
Plus or minuses on your current city?

Re: GTKY: Where is home for you?
I live in a large city just south of Boston and work in Boston.
i grew up in CT so when i say "home" i still think of there, but i've lived here in Boston and the area for 14 years and i love it.
Pluses of Boston? it's beautiful, awesome history, great bars and restaurants, lots to do.
cons: the traffic and parking are absolutely awful.
we had our first really cold day yesterday. when i was leaving my house it was 22 degrees.
I love the slow pace and the hospitality in Nebraska, but I'm a flip-flop girl and want to live somewhere where I can wear them nearly year round. I'm over snow.
I've also lived in Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Northern California is one of the most beautiful places i've ever visited, i loved it.
What part of Florida are you hoping to move too? I'm originally from North Florida and I miss it! Doesn't seen like it would be that different, but culturally north and central FL are waaaay different.
I used to live in downtown Sacramento and I think that's like the perfect blend of what I want: city living, walkability, stuff to do, but reliable public transit, cheap housing, and no freaking school lotteries (I'm looking at you, San Francisco!). Unfortunately my husband wasn't into the idea of city living. When it's time to sell our house I'm really going to push to get back downtown or at least into one of the adjacent neighborhoods...I feel like we've given the far suburbs a chance and I see it as a failed experiment. I just do not feel at home out there.
I moved here for my H but really miss my hometown of Kingston Ontario. Beautiful historical city on waterfront with fantastic community and shopping

We are relocating to Boise ID next year with DHs fam. I loooove it there! NorCal is certainly beautiful but so freakin expensive.
El Paso for me.
Pluses: It's funny watching tourism shows about EP because they point out historic and "popular" places like the magoffin home (historic, but also in the middle of three shelters so not the safest place) and chicos tacos (just don't eat there. Don't.)
EP has a lot of actual cool places like lephant rock to hike up to, the river to walk next to, and a waterfall.
