EBF, no poop in 10 days?

DS is EBF and has not pooped in 10 days (today is day 11)...he does not seem unfomfortable or unhappy at all.  Anyone else have a LO that doesn't poop very often?  I called the pedi office and the nurse told me to give him 1/2 tsp of dark brown sugar to 1oz of cooled boiled water up to 3 times a day.  Anyone else hear this? When I googled it, every website has a different ratio of sugar to water.

Ds only poops once or twice a week, I think the longest he's gone is 10 or 11 days... And yes it's normal. My pedi was no concered at all. I'm no help on the sugar water thing tho, never heard of it.

And yeah, @araziza is the queen of no poop around these parts. Her pedi said it's still normal for a EBF baby to go up to 21 days w/o poop.

We're on day 5 right now. I think you're fine. But ditto about asking @araziza. I've never looked up anything about the sugar water, but I would trust your pedi.

You rang? Lol. Yes my DD ended up doing 20 days then 23 days without pooping. Our pedi was in touch with our local children's hospital and was told up to 21 days can still be considered normal for a EBF baby, we were encouraged to give her diluted prune juice and using a qtip in vasaline in her butt to try to stimulate her to poop. If you LO is not straining and as long as his belly is not hard everything is probably ok and passing gas is also a good sign. I was happy we went to the pedi every couple of days and he double checked everything was ok and did weight checks. (The second time around we found out her weight gain has almost stopped which is probably why she went more than 21 days).

I kind of thought that's what you were getting at, doesn't everyone around here know about my poopless wonder ? I guess unlike you and me @wasnotwas some people have lives outside our bump world and can't read every thread about my awesome DD. 

OP no if dense intend feel free to PM me if you want to discuss no poop further. Also feel free to look up all my old posts, I tend to give way too much detail.

Sorry, with a two year old and 5 month old I don't get to bump very often (hence why my ticker says I am 61 weeks pregnant, lol) so I hadn't seen the posts about not pooping....was hoping there would be someone else that had gone through this. My DS1 never had that problem

Now I'm off to try and remember how to fix my ticker....

This, all the words! Pedi said to bring him in around the 10 day mark, but he finally went the evening before the appointment ... so we never went in.
