We had them for about 24 hours.
Evie had her vaccine a week and a half ago, and Monday night she was covered in red dots. Not raised or irritated, just bright red spots. Someone on Facebook had asked if her throat seemed sore or if she had had a runny nose, and I said no then - however when I thought about it, she had been sniffly the day before, and her head had felt warm to me. But she was in good spirits, although she did have a few bouts of atypical fussiness.
Anyway, seemed to be a reaction the vaccine, and since I caught it (despite that I had chicken pox in grade two,) it was obviously still contagious. Her doctor agreed. It's a great thing that she didn't get very sick, and now quite likely she never will because of the vaccine, but that doesn't really help when you consider that we had her out in public at a store and in a restaurant.
I'm worried we single-handedly started a case of chicken pox in our town

Re: Chicken pox
Point is, you didn't know. I'm just glad evie didn't get it too bad.
