1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!

transferred one beautiful 5day blast (girl)

    We were off on Monday so my week is going pretty well. On the happy side, it was DH and my anniversary yesterday but we aren't celebrating until the weekend.

    Oooh happy anniversary, PA! :):):) I hope you have a great time celebrating this weekend. Anything planned in specific you want to share?

    AFM: I do my last Lupron shot tonight and start PIO tomorrow. It's the final count down! Woo hoo! I think we are finally going to paint the room that will hopefully someday be our nursery, but its a neutral color so it works no matter what. I think we are going to decorate the Christmas tree Saturday night.

    I'm also going to try to finish putting together a care package for our embryo donor's family who's daughter was recently diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. I'm heading to baskin robbins to get a gift card so the family can take all the kids out for ice cream, a card from us, a bracelet for the mom, a card and a little crown from my cousin, and a blanket my friend made. I wish I could do more...but I just want them to know we are thinking about them like crazy.

    I didn't get Af Friday and was havin horrible cramps so I finally called and had an u/s in have a big cyst on my right ovary and my lining was 8mm they are talking about doing provera. Isn't 8mm thick the u/s tech said I was wrong?

    AFM: My RE's office hasn't sent the orders to my GYN for the appt they want me to have Friday. So I'm trying to find out if they wanted me to drive to them or if it's ok to have the appt here again. Also, I have to find out if the appt can be on Thursday with my GYN or at an imaging center on Friday. :-?? What a mess. Not much else is going on with me. I've been lazy lately...blame it on the estrogen. lol I've read 2 books in the last 2 weeks and don't seem to have much motivation to do anything at all.

    liz, I'm excited that you're so close! I can't believe you are doing a tree already! But maybe it's not as early as it feels. That is terrible news about your donor's daughter. How very kind of you to put that basket together.

    As for me, nothing exciting. Still reeling from yesterday's drama, and just feeling overall kinda depressed. I will probably be completely unproductive and hang out in bed a lot. I can't even attribute it to the meds, like DP! I'm just flat out lazy/sad.

    ***Decided to stop trying and live CFNBC. I couldn't adjust. So, six months later...
    IVF #5: Changed RE. Going to one of the big name clinics now. OWDU: 10/29/13. Update: HORRIBLE experience. Disgusted and distraught at their complete unprofessionalism and how much money and precious time they cost us. Sickening. Have now changed RE again. New Patient appt. 1/30/14.
    BFP! Out of nowhere, I got KU the old fashioned way! POAS 1/26/14 - Positive! FDLM 12/30/13. Beta #1 16dpo= 373. Beta #2 18dpo= 801. EDD 10/6/14
    2/4/14 1st U/S revealed a 5wk2day sac but no fetal pole. Started 200mgs of progesterone suppositories daily
    2/11/14 2nd U/S revealed a perfect 6wk1day "diamond ring" embryo with a beating heart! 138bpm! Add 1mg folic acid and 40mg Lovenox
    2/25/14 3rd U/S: perfect 8w1d embryo, 178bpm. 3/6 start spotting. 3/11 10w1d U/S shows no heartbeat. Scheduling D&C. The Stork has forsaken me again.
    IVF #5.2: New in-state RE. Supplement priming for 1.5 cycles prior to start of cycle, including DHEA 50mg (stopped 5/15), CoQ10 200mg 2x/day, L-Arginine- 1000mg 2x/day (stopped 6/5 due to cold sore!), myo-inositol- 2g 2x/day, melatonin- 3mg, and Neevo (prenatal for MTHFR).
    5/16/14 Day 2 bw cycle prior: FSH- 12.22, E2- 38.37, Prog- 1.35, LH- 9.46. 6/2/14 Day 19 bw: Prog- 23
    6/12/14 Baseline: E2- 122.7, Prog- 0.4. 5 follicles in left, 4 follicles in right. Start stims: 375IU Follistim & 150IU Menopur. 6/19 Increase Follistim to 425IU, Menopur still 150IU. 6/18 add Ganirelix. 6/23 Ovidrel trigger SQ. 6/25 ER: 8R, 8M, 5F naturally. Start Medrol & Doxy. 6/26 Start Endometrin. 7/2 Start Lovenox.
    7/8/14 Beta= 137.4 BFP!!! (My first from IVF!) E2- 1109, Prog- >60. Stop CoQ10, myo-inositol, and melatonin. 7/9 2nd Beta= 281.4. TSH- 2.70. Increasing Synthroid to 100mcg daily. 7/24 6w3d u/s measured 6w3d, hb: 121bmp! 8/5 8w1d u/s measured 8w3d, hb: 164bpm! Graduated from RE to OB. Now I just need to find an OB!
    EDD 3/18/15!

    DP: Estrogen makes me feel awesome... that's a lie.  I'm eating everything and I'm a moody beast.

    @firesiren Getting close! Fx for you and your embies!

    AFM: I had the scratch procedure done yesterday. Not a pleasant experience at all, but thankfully it was over quickly. Still having some cramping and spotting today... hopefully that'll end soon though. On a better note, both DH and my karyotyping blood work came back normal. Big relief there!

    Yeah, I can't believe we are doing the tree already too...but....DH had a good point about putting out early in the event we get bad news about this cycle, either m/c or BFN. We want to enjoy the season at least somewhat. And if it is a success, we just got an extra holiday season. Made sense to me! My most recent blog post was about it! :-D I'm weird.

    I'm really sorry you're feeling so depressed, I'm sending you lots of hugs. I hope you get some good news your way soon.

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

    AFM: nothing new here just working and quilting away trying to pass the time. Going to a friends three hours away this weekend and it's her sons 3rd bday party.     as for me, i'm pretty miserable on my 4th week of lupron and probably all for nothing....i never got AF which probably means my cyst is still there and lining is still thick.  Go in Friday to see if we will be cancelled this cycle if I am not suppressed.  We are going to a wedding 4 hours away saturday so hopefully that will get my mind of things.  I may be doing some serious drinking if things don't go well Friday!

    TTC 2 years- Me and DH (28) with (severely) low sperm count- less than 40 total (last 2 SA showed only 5 and 6 sperm each)
    IVF #1: ER 1/23/13- 4 eggs retrieved, 3 eggs fertilized; ET with 1 embryo 1/28/13 2 frosties beta #1 2/5 was 4.8- beta #2 2/7 3.5; BFN
    FET #1- transferred one beautiful 4AA embie. Praying this is my take home baby. Beta 5/7/13- BFFN!!!
    IVF #2: ER 7/17/13: 6R/3F- transferred 1 blast and 1 10 cell embryo 5dt.   Beta hell.  #1 2.5, #2 2.2- BFFFN! REALLY?
    IVF #3: ER 12/1 and only 2 retrieved.  1 fertilized with ICSI.  Was planning on transferring one fresh and one frozen....fresh was only 14 cells at day 5...CANCELLED and devastated due to 5cm blood filled cyst in ovary and blood in uterus.
    IVF #4: Antagonist protocol with endometrial scratch day one of stims.  ER 4/21: 6R/4M/3F- transferred 2 beautiful blasts (5dt) and one was hatching!  No frosties but hoping we won't need it!  Beta 5/4/14- 444(8dp5dt), Beta #2 10dp5dt 1002!  THIS HAS GOT TO BE IT!!!!!!!!!!  First US 5/15 we saw two of the most beautiful gestational and yolk sacs I have ever seen!  
    ****FINALLY PREGNANT WITH DI/DI TWINS!!!!!!!  

    BRINLEY AND RILEY LONG.  Born November 20, 2014 at 32 wks 3 days.  4lbs7oz and 4lbs5oz.  1 month NICU time for "B's" and growing and feeding.  Now healthy, thriving, beautiful little girls!

It goes against all common sense to choose someone who hasn't donated before but that's what we did and it just feels right. FX!!! Unfortunately we can't move forward with her screening until after our O.DWU... It is going to be a long torturous couple of months!

    AFM: we found out were team purple this week and I've started feeling movement. Dr kk is finally weaning my prednisone, metformin and progesterone too!
