I'm a STM and we bought our 14 mo. old DS, a boxer pup last year so they could grow together he has become such a little member of our family. He is so loyal a pest sometimes because he is an inside dog, but I'd not trade it for the world, he guards my sons door at night. It's amazing his name is Bruce but our DS calls him Butch, like the dog off Mickey Mouse Clubhouse(:

I have my 8 month old kitten, Seven of Nine (or just Seven). Stepdaughter got her for me for mother's day this year. Coincidentally, she has the same birthday as our Astrid, so I love her even a million times more than I normally would She's a torbie (Tortoiseshell Tabby cat), and definitely has "tortitude". 

Here she is when she fell asleep on my mouse pad/keyboard when I was playing some video games and then when she had to wear a cone after her kitty-hysterectomy.

I seriously love this cat.

Yep! Our aussie, Vega is in my siggy. We also have Emme and Echo, two calico's, Emme was mine prior to DH and I meeting, and Echo was his, prior to us meeting. Friends have asked if our child will be dark gray, copper, and white, too.

We have two Rottweilers, 7 and 3.  My family keeps asking how the dogs are going to react once the baby comes and I'm just like, umm, adapt?  That's what dogs do!  Rottweilers get a bad wrap for being vicious and people couldn't be more wrong.  A big dog does not equal mean.  They're actually the opposite.  Totally sweet and loyal.  I'm sure my female Rotty will be pretty protective towards baby.  Here they are sunbathing at our old house.

I have two dogs. One is Ammie, my avatar. She's a blue heeler, Australian shepherd. Steagle a big mutt that's probably boxer, pointer, pit bull and lab or something like that. Two horses, my Thoroughbred, Damon, and my daughters pony, Cole Star. And two cats. They are supposed to live in the barn but are always coming in the house. All the animals are very patient and love kids so it works great.

We have two Keeshonds, Heidi is 10 and Lukas is 9. They were 4 and 3 when we originally acquired them. They weren't too sure of our son when we first brought him home a little over a year ago but they've warmed up to him quite nicely. Lukas is super protective of him and always has to check on him if he sounds at all distressed. Heidi gets nervous when he's on the move but always needs to stick close. I truly believe they were made to be around young children.

We have two cats, my 12 year old baby boy, Boog, and his adopted sister, Charlotte. Then there's my inlaw's dogs (we cohabitate while I'm in school and to save money for our own place) they're pit mixes and Max, the 95 pound male, is a giant baby. He thinks he's a lap dog and has his "prize" stuffed frisbee that he carries around like a toddler with a binky. His litter mate, Tippy, is our wild child but she was the first to notice I was pregnant (even before I knew!). Both dogs are my shadows and follow me around everywhere and it think they're going to do pretty good with baby. Boog, on the other had, will probably have our LO in a box on the curb with a Free to good home sign clawed into the side! That cat is as jealous as they come!

This is our Lucky dog. She is so laid back. (Most of the time) I can't wait to see our own little one running around with her. She does great with my niece and nephew! Sweetest dog ever!

We have two dogs and three cats: Calvin is 2 and a beagle/shitzu miz, Scarlett is almost 4 and is a beagle/pointer mix, Celes is a 7 year old domestic short hair, Trace is a 7 year old domestic long hair, and Odin is a 1.5 year old feral rescue who drives us bonkers.  We love all of our fur babies though!!!

We have two orange tabbies. Harley is my 10 year old big man and Sunny is his adopted 2 year old little sister. My husband had two white German Shepherds before we met, who are currently destroying the backyard!

I have 4 kitties. Rumor is mine and he's 16. He's such a grumpy old man and for some reason everyone loves him because of it. Spike adopted my son when he was born. He's 11 now. Both of those two are black short hairs. We adopted Pudding next; he's 7 and gray. HE adopted my husband. Follows him around like the most loyal of dogs. Purrs whenever my husband looks at him. Most recently we adopted a huge ball of fluffy orange fur and named him Ludo. He's a Maine Coon and he's 12. My step-son claimed him and they're best buds. All that cat wants is petting and my step-son is very obliging.

This is my bf's family's dog Lilly. Ever since I moved in with him she kinda became my little girl. She's a 6 year old pit bull/ Australian cattle dog mix. She's the biggest snuggle bunny in the winter (she was a rescue who lived with a homeless man til she was 3). She's such a sweetheart and scared of her own shadow! Haha I'm sure she's gonna love munchkin once he/she arrives just like she does all other kids. Below is a pic of her snuggling with me and bf on the couch and her cute little face.

This couldn't be more true! My mom has a Rottie and right after I found out I was expecting I went over there for dinner. Tinka (Tinkerbell) wouldn't leave my side. She even waited outside the door when i went to the bathroom. I know she knew I am pregnant.

We have a German Shepard named Brutus with a floppy ear, a light calico cat named Miley, an all grey cat named Meeko (Meeko and Miley are litter mates) and a crazy grey and white cat named Leo. My husband says I'm not allowed to pick anymore animals cuz the ones I pick are all "special" -.- and they are but they sure make our house fun! Lol

This is Dallas our 1.5 year old fox terrier chihuahua mix. He's still all puppy and full of energy. He was our wedding gift to each other last year. We got him when he was 3 months old. He listens to my husband over me.

Drives me nuts too! I'll be home with him and he'll get into everything. When my husband is home with him all he does is sleep on him! I'm hoping the baby will be good for me and bad for my husband so he knows what it's like!

I love threads about furbabies.  I have two, a 2 &1/2 year old Weimaraner named Maus and a 9 month English Mastiff named Brutus.  They are quite the snugglers and mischief makers.
