Possible TMI

Sorry if this is TMI but seriously does anyone have tips on peeing in the cup when you are so freaking huge? I'm 32w but measuring at 40w and I'm having issues getting the cup down there lol. I have to have NSTs twice weekly and go to the OB every other week so sometimes I'm peeing in a cup 3 times a week. Any tips on how to do it more gracefully would be appreciated!

I heard some moms took a bigger cup to use and then transferred the contents to the doctor's cup.

I have no advice, but this made me lol. At my 32 week appointment last week, I had a lot of trouble too! I told the nurse that I wasn't sure how I was going to manage from here on out. Definitely a challenge!

Haha, no, but this made me laugh. I am not sure there is any way to make that graceful at this point.

Ask the dr for disposable caps to place between the seat and bowl. Pee in that and dump in cup.

They can put a "hat" in the toilet and then transfer the pee to the specimen cup.

This made me lol....I considered it a major victory to not pee on my hand at dr Appts when I was that big.

My best was I had held it so I could pee in the cup and just sat down and pee'd. Without the cup.
It was so tricky. I always felt like a contortionist aiming for that cup! The "hat" is a great idea.

Lol!  Yes, the hat makes it easy... my doc didn't have any readily available but I found that making sure the pants/undies are all the way down to the floor and spreading my knees as wide as I could helped me get it in the cup 99% of the time those last few weeks.

Haha! I totally forgot about this! I had this problem at the end with DD. I just tried to spread my legs as far as possible and get a good stream going before trying to get the cup under the stream. I peed all over myself every time! Good luck!

I knocked the damn cup on my jeans a few weeks back and splashed piss all down my jeans. Dammit.

Just seeing this post and it made me laugh! At my last OB appointment I was thinking this exact same thing, I had such a hard time trying to line up the cup....I just hoped for the best.

I never had any problems. I had my right arm up tight against the right side of my belly and had the cup under me as i sat down.

I haven't had a problem...yet.  I am going to my last OB appointment this afternoon though so I probably just jinxed myself.  I just try to "aim from the side", rather than reaching between my legs from the front.  I've dribbled down the side of the cup, but have missed my hand thus far.  The hat thinger others are talking about sounds like a good idea though.
