Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

whats next?

my little bear is getting too big for size 6 diapers. he is only 15 months. When they get to small do I switch to pull ups even though he isnt ready for potty training? Is there a size 7 diaper? ive never seen them. For Mommies who use pull ups how do they hold up over night?

Re: whats next?

  • I also have this problem-- my son has been in 6s for months, too. They do make a size 7 Pampers Cruisers-- you can get them online or in Babies R Us. They don't however, make a size 7 night diaper, which is what we really need. We've been double diapering with a size 6 overnight and a 7 over the top to catch leaks (it's the only thing that has worked). I sometimes also use Pull Ups during the day but they just don't hold enough for nighttime and, honestly, I don't trust them for big poops. If I'm pretty confident that it'll be just pee for awhile, I use a Pull Up. Also, I pre bought a bunch while stocking up on diapers and have found that there's no way that the 2T-3T size will fit by the time he's ready to potty train so I want to use them while I can actually get them on him

  • We use easy ups. Either Pampers or Huggies it doesn't matter which. I just go by what coupon I have. LUVs doesn't make them to my knowledge, or I can't find them. Size 2T-3T they worked better than the over nights I thought. Both brands tear off but the Huggies have "refasteners" if that's a word, which is nice.
  • thanks ladies. he is 29 pounds. Im going to try the pampers to see if they are bigger.
