Need a face primer from a "regular" store like Target!

Totally random, but Im almost out of my Lancome face primer and I NEED to use primer. I dont want to drive basically to the strip to get it though. Anyone use a primer from like CVS Or Target?

  • You could try the Loreal stuff, they are owned by Lancôme. I've had good luck with Boots No7 PhotoFix.

  • Sorry, I'm makeup illiterate
I have VERY oily skin so I need it as a base before I put on any makeup. Even in Las Vegas Im still oily. :( So I put my face lotion on and then my primer. I use it even if I am only applying concealer. It kind of seals your face too so if you have fine lines or deeper ones, it keeps makeup from sinking in. I swear by primer and Ive only been using it for about 6 months! It changed my life.

  • It just prepares your skin for make up. It gives your skin a smoother finish to put make up on and it also helps your make up, in my opinion, adhere to your face better. I'm addicted!

That's what I came in to say. I've seen many Pinterest pins say that it's a dead ringer for Smashbox primer.

Eta and I've tried it and love it

It also helps my makeup go on much smoother, so I can use WAY less.

Lilee- what's your wash routine? Have you looked into oil cleanse method at all? I love it.
I use coconut oil to wash my face and thats basically it. I really dont like how it feels around my eyes though. I should look into the oil cleanse method - I've told myself many times I would and I just never have because it scares me. What do you do?

It's probably a little too oily. I would make a mix with castor oil and whatever else.  In the winter, I use about 50% castor, 25% jojoba and 25% grapeseed oil.  Mix it all up and just use that.  The castor oil is what actually cleans.  (In the summer, I do a little more castor oil to the mix.)

I love trying new face stuff so I will totally try it!
