Diaper Questions (The Honest Company)

So this is our first baby (still crazy to say) …I have already looked into diapers and was pretty set on using The Honest Company. I really love the safe ingredients and overall fact that they care about the product they put out. I just was reading a few posts that had mentioned The Honest Company and a couple of them seemed to be a little unhappy with the diapers. I was wondering if anyone on here has used or uses their diapers and how they've worked for you. Also would love to know if anyone has other companies like the Honest Company…safe ingredients and such for baby . Would love some feedback! Thanks peeps!

I really wanted them to work but they leaked like none other for us. They just don't fit DS as well as others do.

What about Seventh Generation diapers if you want to use disposables?

I know a couple people who use and like Honest.  I would start with the trial and go from there.  The hospital will load you up with diapers if you ask until your first box comes.

I fid a trial, we cd but I like to have some disposables on hand. The leaked and chafed and were just bad, especially for being so much more expensive. I actually wasn't impressed with any of The Honest Company products I received.

Target brand (Up&Up) doesn't use chlorine or fragrances, like seventh generation. All disposable diapers have some chemicals to them, which is how they hold so much pee, but if we use disposables and not cloth, I use Up&Up.

You won't know until you use them yourself. I have one friend who loves them & that's all she uses. Another who doesn't like them at all. I work in an Eco-friendly baby store & besides cloth we only carry Honest Company. I like A LOT of their products & I know we sell a ton of the diapers & wipes. Kroger brand diapers are good as well as Target brand.

Seventh Generation actually dyes their diapers brown so that people think that they are natural.

And they are really expensive, like $0.35 a diaper expensive.

We used Earth's Best before switching to cloth.
