Vent because this board is dead anyways!

So tomorrow my in-laws are coming yippee! Of course I need to clean, wash sheets, and cook all day. Usually LO takes his long morning nap in the swing and I was going to clean like mad during that time. After all morning of trying to get him down I finally nursed him and successfully transferred him to the swing. Now time to get busy. I opened the back door and forgot to turn the house alarm off LO still hasn't went back to sleep and he's still grumpy from that rude awakening #Fail!

  • Thanks guys no luck so far. I can get him to sleep easy but then if I don't hold him the whole time he wakes up. I agree my in-laws are pretty nice but is always so awkward. X_X

  • Oh damn!! I just had to set up E's play mat, bouncy seat, and jumper, and just keep alternating her between each activity when she got bored so that I could clean ONE bathroom. That was like an all afternoon event. She's the queen of the 30 min nap so I had to create new ways to get things done. I'm only successful half the time. GL!

  • It never fails when I have to get house work done she won't stick to her routines. Which causes me to panic at the end of the night and scramble after her bed time to do it all as quickly as I can.
  • @jo27key that made me lol and feel a little better;) sounds like what I'm doing now.

  • @beaslejl I'm sure that's what I'll be doing too!! Well I guess I can't blame him for not sticking to his routine because the house alarm doesn't usually go off during his morning nap. :|
