ISO First Time Mom-to-be in CT

Hi lovely ladies! I posted this previously in the June 2014 forum and someone suggested I post in the local forum:

I'm looking for a pregnant friend due around June 2014 living in Connecticut - preferably New Haven or Fairfield County. It would be really nice to go through this with another first time mom-to-be! I would LOVE to have someone to talk to, and to exercise, plan, and learn with! And hopefully our kids could even play together when the time comes! Also, my boyfriend would benefit from befriending another father-to-be (though not necessary).

Not sure if this is a good place to start... Does anyone have suggestions as to where I could find what I'm looking for? Thanks!

I go to prenatal yoga at Bloom in Southington. One of the best parts is meeting other moms-to-be and there is usually a range from 10-week moms to 38- or even 39-week moms. If you aren't close to Southington, I'd recommend looking for prenatal exercise classes.

I run a moms group that used to be on meetup but we have moved to facebook.  We do family events on the weekends occasionally as well.  My girls are 13 mos old already but there are moms in the group with littler (and bigger) babies.  We always welcome new moms even if you want to come hang out before the baby is born, we are a wealth of knowledge.
