PSA: Graco Click vs Classic Connect!

This may be old news to others, but figured I'd share just in case!

We got the Graco Snugride 35 Click Connect carseat (love it!) as a shower gift, and also registered for (and received) the BOB attachment for it and an extra base for our second car. But I unknowingly registered for the Bob bar and the base that match the Graco Snugride 35 Classic Connect. And the Click Connect doesn't fit with Classic Connect accessories.

I am firing off a highly annoyed email to Graco about this--it's fine to update your product line but those two product names are virtually identical, and to have both lines still available with their accessories not matching up is highly confusing for the consumer. We didn't even notice until we went to try them out. Good thing hubs is so anal and was working on putting everything together so far in advance, so there is plenty of time to exchange them (although the BOB does not appear to make a carseat attachment that works with the Click Connect, much to my chagrin).

I've learned that the Bob adapter for Chicco car seats will work with the Graco Click Connect, looking at comments on FB and Amazon apparently people have been complaining about this for months, I'm surprised Bob wasn't able to work with Graco to launch a new product at the same time Graco debuted their new line.

Good to know. I can't remember what I registered for, for the seat and stroller, but we'll need an extra base and I plan on buying it later. I'll make sure to get it right! Thank you!

Crap.  I need to remember to look at which carseat I have tonight. 

@MissMeegs have you tried this?  Or can you link me so I can read?

yea this is really sucky.  We need a new infant seat since DS's was in my car when I had my accident last year. We had gotten it as apart of a travel system. I learned that if I wanted to reuse the bases I have, I'd have to get the same kind. I found this chart on their website

Really sucks that the car seat we have, which I believe most travel systems are or were when I got mine, is not compatible with ANY other model.

This is the same reason we registered for the classic connect carseat as well. The click connect just doesn't have the broad compatibility yet that the classic connect has.

Sorry I have been away--but have I tried what? The Chicco BOB seat adapter? I have not yet but I've read in the Amazon reviews that it works, and that's what the BOB customer service people are saying. So we're going to order one!

I checked my registry, and found out I chose the Classic Connect. (that's good, right?)
