My son has eczema along with an egg allergy and peanut allergy. When the weather started to get colder, his eczema flared up and I began to put the usual lotions and creams on it. However, it's getting worse. Instead of dry and itchy, it's red, hot, and all over the inside of his arms. Nothing seems to help. I have tried Aquaphor, various eczema lotions (which makes it burn), prescription hydrocortisone cream, and the only thing that kind of helps is coconut oil and vaseline. Does anyone have any recommendations for something to help? I'm starting to wonder if it could possibly be a reaction to something. His doc can't see us till later this week. Thanks in advance!

When I was little I had really bad dry skin. My mom had me take baths in oatmeal. I remember it working. That might be an idea. But the skin so soft works amazing for DS. Plus it smells soo good.
