Clean ears

My ds is 3 1/2 months and I'm constantly cleaning his ears cuz when I'm nursing I stare at them. Is it not smart to do that cuz they need some wax in ear? I just thought of this recently. Thanx

Earwax is protective, so no need to clean it out. If a little chunk is visible on the outside of the ear, it's okay to grab it. But definitely don't put anything into the ear canal.

I do the same thing when he is nursing - look at his ear :-) I only get the visible wax because I don't want to injure him or push the ear wax into his ear.

Johnson and Johnson makes baby q-tips. The ends are really big so you can't stick them down into the ear canal. I use them to wipes out my LO's ear and in the ear folds.
