We traded in my car in July for a Kia Sportage to fit 2 car seats... we just got our carseats this past weekend and hubs will be installing them tonight!

Week: Holy crap almost 30 weeks! 29.4!

Any updates? Yes - had my babies shower yesterday, it was fantastic!! So much good and helpful stuff, I appreciated it all so much!! And good food and cupcakes! My little sister surprised me and flew in for the shower all the way from Canada, I was so so happy!
Next appt? THREE tomorrow: MFM, OB and Dentist. Can't wait to see how big these "little" guys are! 
QOTW : Yikes, I didn't even think of this! I would guess that when I go in to the hospital, my husband will go to our storage space and stick the car seats into his car.

34 weeks! Our boys will be here WEDNESDAY!!! They are head down so we will be induced at 10 am! I'm an absolutely bundle of nerves since tomorrow will be my last day being pregnant. Im already 4-5 cm and 75% effaced so hopefully it's an easy delivery like our first was. B dropped to the bottom 2% so they have decided he is better growing on the outside rather than in. As for car seats we put them in at 32 weeks when I went into the hospital for PTL but made it an extra 2 weeks so we are all set for when it's time to bring them home.

Week : 14 weeks tomorrow
Team/Type: Team waiting...should have CVS results this week and then we'll know gender. Di/Di
Any updates? Not much...we did some work this weekend organizing the office and making a game plan for turning it into the twins' nursery. Part of that is ordering new furniture for our family room to make it a familyroom/office. Spent a lot of money but will help. Had an appointment last week and babes looked good. We brought our DD who loved the U/s.
Next appt? Not for 4 more weeks for my anatomy scan 12/10 at 18 weeks. Then alternating appointments every 2 weeks: ob then 2 weeks later MFM and ultra sound until delivery or until I need them more frequently.

Assuming all continues healthy, I want the nursery and car ready by 30 weeks (I'd like it by 28 weeks, but DD and DH will be in Florida for SIL's wedding so I'm giving us a bit more time since i'll need DH's help).

23w3d! Almost to 24!

Any updates? Had a growth scan today and everyone looks great. Baby A is 1lb 3oz and Baby B is 1lb 1oz. They decided to be transverse (ying and yang) today, so we'll see how they continue to move. One cute pic we got was A kicking B in the head while we were trying to get a profile shot. Then B put a hand up as if to shield their head .

Next appt? Next week at the OB.

Haven't decided on a date yet, but probably around 34 weeks or so. We still have to buy another car seat to go with the one from DS.

Week: 29w4d Team: Purple Updates: on Nifedipine every 6 hours but it appears to be working My DH finally came home from Afghanistan and will be home permanently now! Next appt: Nov 25 for both U/S and OB and then should be cleared for out of state travel over Thanksgiving QOTW: we are hopefully going shopping for car seats this week and will finally start getting the nursery ready after moving our 2 yr old to a different room.

Mo/di; team waiting til Dec 4th to find out!
Updates: had my first appt with MFM last Thurs and they confirmed mo/di. Was relieved to see both babies doing well and have a new level of excitement now. I have to go every 2 weeks 16-26 weeks, then every week, since they are mo/di. And a $50 copay at each visit... Ugh! But glad I will be monitored closely.

Next appt is the 18th with OB. I feel all over the place with all these appts with diff. doctors.

Super stressed about the car situation. DD is 17mo, so we have to fit 3 car seats. We have a CX9 as our only car. We have to see if we can make it work or have to buy a bigger car. We were already planning on getting a second, small car but not planning on having to get two new cars!

Thank you! I'm nervous but I was more nervous with my first so I'm using him to keep me focused on the end product I wish so much so I could have made it longer but I'm just glad to have made it to 34. I was in the hospital week 26/27 for PTL the home on strict bed rest then back in at 30 weeks for 2 days then back home then again at 31 weeks 4 days until now so I have been here a little over 2 weeks on the magnesium (worst drug in the entire world) to keep contractions at bay so B could develop a little more. I'm just counting the hours haha! Enjoy your last few weeks it goes by so fast!

Your so right! I will miss it so much. I cried for three days after my first was born because I wanted him back inside. I missed feeling him kick. I know it will be the same all over again especially because I'm ssoooo not ready for this. I liked not knowing when labor was this time it's like count down to pain haha! Even though it's worth every bit of it. Ah! I just still can't wrap my head around it being two babies! I'm excite to meet these little boys though so time is standing still!

Any updates?  We had our second ultrasound today and were supposed to be released from the RE but he found a SCH   Now we get to hang out there for at least another week. We're not complaining, we love our RE! I'm on modified bed rest, which is basically bed rest except I'm allowed to go into work since I sit on my butt all day!
Next appt?   Tomorrow is first obgyn appt and next Monday we go to our RE again to check the size of the SCH.
QOTW : When did you get your car ready for your multiples? Do you plan on getting ready by a certain week?  I haven't done anything in particular yet, just mostly praying that way can fit two car seats in our Tucson and still have enough leg room in the front for hubby and myself! We're both about six feet.

Any updates?: Had an appointment today...cervix was ok but not great, baby A is 1 lb 7 oz and baby B is 1 lb 12 oz (they gained 2-6 oz in a week) and fluid levels are still high.
Next appt?: Next Monday....GD test, perinatologist, and ob all in one day
QOTW : When did you get your car ready for your multiples? Do you plan on getting ready by a certain week?: Well since we are ptl "flagged" already....the sooner the better! I'm thinking around 28 weeks just in case!

Team/Type: Green Mo/Di, 18w0d Any updates? TTTS with marginal cord insertion in the donor twin (Twin confirmed today. I'm feeling pretty freaked out; with two previous miscarriages, I'm in a constant state of worry and anger. Our new goal is to get to viability or 28 weeks for both babies. Next appt? Monday. We're on weekly appointments now, and we're looking into amnioreduction or fetosoptic surgery next week. QOTW : When did you get your car ready for your multiples? Do you plan on getting ready by a certain week? We cleaned the car and the SUV, we're pretty fortunate to have large enough cars that we don't have to worry too much. As far as when to be ready, we don't have a concrete date planned since we don't quite know what the end game will be. All we really need now though are car seats.

We have a 15 passenger van (twins are #7&8 lol) so no worries there. Will have hubby put in car seats after twins are born, before we leave hospital. That's how we always do it. Actually, we have to take the car seats out at hospital. They require a car seat check w EKG before discharge.

Any updates? We scheduled my csection a couple days ago for the 21st of the month!! So only about a week and a half until I have my babies, unless they decide to come earlier. But they seem very content to stay in my belly!

Next appt? This Thursday for a bpp and length ultrasound!

I'm pretty sure we installed them about 2 weeks ago so I was almost 35 weeks. I really wanted to get them ready way earlier but my inlaws were giving us a better car and it took a while for them to get it all checked out and ready for us. But I guess we really didn't need it that early! I just wanted to be prepared just in case!

I'm at the doctor twice a week these days. Once to see my OB and once to see my MFM for NST and BPP.
Tomorrow at 8am with OB. Then Thursday at 9:15 for NST at MFM.
QOTW : We have the carseats. I think DH may put in the bases soon, or he'll wait and do it while I'm in the hospital. DD has her carseat in the center of my backseat so we can't really put the actual carseats in yet.

Any updates? I had 28 week growth u/s today - and both babies looked perfect and my cervix is long and closed at 3.6cm and no signs of PTL.   I am so thankful and happy right now I start crying within seconds of thinking that I am going to have two babies soon. 
Next appt? Ob is next week and I don't go back to the peri until 32 weeks and start BPPs!!!  Crazy.
QOTW : When did you get your car ready for your multiples? Do you plan on getting ready by a certain week?  We just got both of our car seats this weekend at my shower - not sure when we are going to install them yet.

Any updates? Had a growth US last week and Baby A is measuring in the 91st percentile, 4lbs 9 oz!  Baby B is staying steady in the 48th percentile 3lbs 12oz.  I cannot believe there is 8lbs of baby in my belly already!!
Next appt? Today I start twice weekly NSTs and I have my OB on Thursday so I'm gonna be busy from here on out with appointments.

Do you plan on getting ready by a certain week?  Ummm we have both car seats but probably wont put them in until the twins are here.  I have a minivan and my DS3 insisted on sitting in the back so its just easier to get back there without any car seats in the captains chairs.

Team: Purple!

Updates: 30w sono had both babies at around 3.5lbs. Up from 2.5lbs at 28w. Good growth.

Sono also showed cervical funnelling, which has us worried about pre-term labor. Doc seemed to think it was OK at this point.

OB appt later this week, for 2nd GD test. DW passed the first one, but for whatever reason they want to do it twice.

Cervix/growth sonos every 2 weeks now.

Car: We purchased a Honda Odyssey over the weekend. Only van we could find that could reasonably fit three carseats (DS will be 2y in Dec). We already have two KeyFit 30s that the twins will use in the Odyssey. We will need to purchase a Diono Radian for the SUV, which should squeeze between the two KeyFits. Won't need that until they go to daycare though.

QOTW : When did you get your car ready for your multiples? Do you plan on getting ready by a certain week? I think we'll wait until after 37 weeks to do that. I know that at our hospital if you deliver before 37 weeks or either baby weighs less than 5#8oz you have to have a car seat test- including the car seat bases- before you take the babies home. So no point in getting the car seat installed just to uninstall it again.

Next appt? MFM Thursday for growth scan.  i can't wait to see them again.  it's been 2 weeks and i'm going crazy.

I want to be ready [clothes washed and nursery done] by 30 weeks. We traded in my brand new Honda Pilot [got it before we knew about the twins] for a Honda Odessey last week - I have a 2 year old and the ease of having three in car seats in the van, verses having DD climb over seats for the third row in the Pilot seemed better.

Any updates? We had our shower last weekend and got some great stuff! Now in plan mode because we still have a lot of bigger items to buy. Going this weekend to order my glider and buy our double stroller! Also I've hit that point where I'm so uncomfortable ALL THE TIME! Boo!! Guess I better get use to it...

I plan on getting the car seats installed around 34-35 weeks...or possibly last minute since we'll be kicking my almost 2 year old to the third row seat in our van.

Any updates? At my last appointment I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced. I've been losing chunks of plug regularly and have a lot of pelvic pressure, but my contractions died down. 

The biggest update though is that I have an induction scheduled for Friday! I have mixed feelings about this and am kind of hoping that things start on their own before then ... but it's nice to have a date set after all this start-and-stop nonsense of the past week or two. 

QOTW : This is really bad, but we don't have the carseats installed yet!! They don't fit in our car along with DS1's seat. DH will install them tomorrow and then ... I'm not sure what we'll do over the next few weeks until we can get a new car.

QOTW : I had my stuff together when I was pregnant with my singleton. This time around I am waiting until the last minute. We bought a mini van though in prep for the twins. So at least now all our kids can fit in one car. I don't think I will install the seats until 35 weeks.

Any updates? Both boys were breech for the past few weeks, but at todays appointment we found that Squirt (Baby is back to his favorite position, diagonal with his feet above his brother head.   My cervix is still fully intact (or however you say that) and both boys are doing good.  When they have been doing the scoring for the past month each week, they have each been scoring 8 out of 8.
Next appt? We saw the Nurse practitioner today, will see the doctor on Tuesday for the last scheduled appointment before our scheduled C-section, on November 27th

We just put the car seat bases in my truck and my husbands van this past Tuesday night.  They had a free car-seat check on Wednesday so except for one minor change they were installed perfectly according to the inspectors.  They just put some of those "noodles" under the one end to make them recline a bit more.

Our boy/girl twins were born at 30 weeks 4 days! S was 3 lb 1 oz and A was 2 lb 11 oz. A has been breathing room air the whole time and S has needed more help, but his breathing has been improving. They are such sweethearts. Hoping to bring them home by mid December. We got the car seats at my shower, 2 days before I was admitted to the hospital and 4 days before they were born...so the car still isn't ready.
