12 months and milk troubles

I attempted to transition my son to milk this week. I gave him 2oz mixed with 6oz of formula twice a day and the last bottle just formula before bed. He has since developed red bumpy patches on his cheeks. They are soft and not dry but look like eczema. I stopped giving him milk for right now and we're back to formula until his skin clears and we'll try again. Has anyone else's LO experienced eczema from Milk?

Also, we first tried when he was 11 1/2 months the same way and he had constipation. Now, that issue is resolved and we have this. Sigh...

my daughter has issues with milk and she gets almond milk with no problem.  we started with rice milk c because i was a little cautious about allergies but she switched around 14mnths.  we had an accidental bottle of cows milk when watching my friends kids just this month with horrible skin results so no cows milk for miss eva

My lo got terrible diarrhea when we tried wcm. Hep pedi remmended stopping for two weeks then trying again in smaller amounts. But a skin reaction might bw an allergy.
