Hey ladies, I have been following this board a bit lately and I am hoping to hang out with you all. I haven't been bumping much since my baby was born in June 2012, but now we are working on #2 without much success again, so I am looking for a little support. I used to hang out on the 3T board and I've seen a few ladies I remember from over there here, so I hope its a good fit, and I can join you!

A little bit about me... I am 30, DH is also 30. We are in the 3rd cycle TTC #2. I only had 1 natural period after having my son, and it was when he was about 9 mo old. So I went back to my RE this summer and started prometrium to induce a period. I also started metformin (which I never had tried while TTC#1), which has regulated things a lot, wishing I would have tried that last time too. The first 2 rounds I did Femara and TI, but this 3rd cycle I did the femara with an ovidrel trigger and TI. Currently in the 2ww. 

I am working full time and DH is at home full time with our son. DH was laid off this spring and unfortunately has not had much luck getting back to work, but his time with our son has been great for him. I love seeing how much closer they have become!

    Welcome! Do you have PCOS? Is that what made them try the metaformin? A good friend IRL finally ad success after failed ivfs when they put metaformin in the mix. Good luck!

    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    @Mrs.AmyDylan, yeah originally they always said unexplained, but now are leaning towards PCOS/anovulation. So far I think its been a game changer, it sucked adjusting to being on metformin, but I think its working well.

    I think the metaformin was a game changer for my friend. She had asymptomatic PCOS. After two failed ivfs several consults with tops clinics that was one of the common suggestions. They did a few different things for ivf3, but that always stood out to me. Good luck!
