Hi ladies! I'm just needing some recommendations for a new sewing machine. Nothing too fancy or expensive. Something that is easy to use for pretty simple projects. I think my budget would be $150. TIA!
I have a Singer. I really like the brand. My model is overkill (computer program embroidery), but it was free I know a lot of people also like Brother, so that might also be worth exploring. You could also check with any local quilting shop / dealers, they sometimes take used machines in on trade, and resell. Also, think of the projects you might want to do, the bargan models don't handle heavier fabrics well.

Re: Sewing machine recs
I should add that kenmore are Jenome machines rebadged as kenmores. Jenome is a great sewing machine brand.
