Can't sleep

It is 6:31 am on Saturday where I'm at and I cannot sleep.

I started to spot last night and cramp. I thought I would wake up this morning to everything being full blown and nada.

Just slight cramping.

So I'm awake wondering:

1.) how long will this take to start?

And 2.) I'm freaking out. Suddenly I have this fear that it is in my tube and no one will catch it until it's too late because my OB sucks and then I'll have to have a tube removed and we'll never get pregnant again.

so, I can't sleep. And normally I grocery shop on Saturdays and I'm afraid to see a pregnant belly. I'm afraid I will burst into tears because I seem to be doing that at random.

Okay, I'm done. Hopefully just typing this out will let me catch a few mins of sleep before my son wakes up.

I'm so sorry I'm awake too because DD likes to wake up at 6am on Saturdays! But as for your m/c question, it cramping & spotting before the full flow is pretty common. When I has my first chemical preg, I remember feeling cramping for like 48 hours before starting to spot then eventually bleeding. It proceeded just like a regular period, just a week late. ((Hugs)) thinking of you!

KC I am so sorry you are going through this. My m/c was similar with spotting and cramping and then full flow for 3-4 days.  I was terrified it was in my tube too. That's why monitoring your betas is so important.  If it doesn't go down properly, as it did with mine, I had an u/s and lots of b/w. It eventually went down on its own. If it doesn't then they will often give a shot of methotrexate and that causes the cells to leave the tube without losing the tube.

I hate when I get all this IF stuff on my mind and I can't sleep - like worrying is going to make it better but that doesn't stop me. I have found writing it out does help get it out of my head so I can get some rest. Hopefully it did help you.

I'm sorry you're struggling with this and wish you the best.

Thanks everyone, the bleeding started full force. I am just relieved that it isn't dragging out and that I won't need a D&C.

I just want this to end naturally and soon which seems to be the case.

I think my anxiety is also stemming from the plummeting hormones. Hopefully everything levels out soon.

I was all ready to answer your questions, then saw the update. If the cramping gets bad ask for a prescription pain killer. I allow myself to enjoy a sedation vacation on special occasions, like a miscarriage.
