Sex after c-section

I was just wondering how long you ladies waited to have sex after your c-section? What about orgasm? Did sex hurt? Did having an orgasm hurt? I had my first child vaginally so this is all new to me and I'm a bit nervous about starting to have sex again.

We waited about 7 weeks. Neither hurt. Good luck

6.5 weeks. It hurt at first but nothing that we couldn't move slowly past and feel fine by the end.

What hurt was the dryness which I think was from breastfeeding, not the CS.

we were about 8 weeks I believe. And no, nothing hurt- I was more worried about my incision and pressure on it from switching positions and what not. I guess I was so wrapped up with that I didn't even think oh, it's been 8 weeks since I've had sex with DH. Hahaha.

I think we waited 8-10 weeks, can't quite remember. I do remember that the first 6 months, sex was a very rare thing, we were both too exhausted and DD was sleeping in our room. It did hurt for several months, not the incision but my vagina felt sore, even though I had a scheduled c-section. It wasn't bad though, just slightly uncomfortable. Not sure if it was because of the c-section or because I was breastfeeding.

I waited 6 weeks. I didn't notice any pain or discomfort.

We waited about 4.5 weeks. I had my pp appt already and got the okay. It didn't hurt and I wasn't sore at all but I bled a bit after so we haven't tried since cause it freaked me out.

We waited 4 weeks.  Took it slow but it wasn't painful at all - maybe not the most mindblowing sex I've ever had but I had less than zero drive while pregnant so it was all good.

Happily Overwhelmed

6 weeks. I had some pain but I think that was more due to the 18 hours of labor with a breech baby. As far as stomach/incision pain I was fine. I think I was too nervous to have amazing sex. But it was good and returned to normal quickly.

We did it at 4.5 weeks and it was painful the first couple times.  We used lube but things still felt really tight even though DH said it didn't feel any different.  I'd say by 7 weeks it was back to normal.

We did it at 3 weeks very carefully and slowly and it was fine. Didn't hurt. Orgasm was mildly uncomfortable after due to uterine contractions.
