AW: Induction progress UPDATE 2

Started on pitocin at 730 am. Was 1-2 cm and 50% effaced. Now 12 hours later 1-2 cm and 50% effaced. It's going to be a long night.

Update: The new doctor coming on is a douche. He's stopped all meds. If I start contracting on my own I can stay. Otherwise he will discharge me at 7 am. T&Ps that my body can kick into gear tonight. Otherwise they won't induce me again until 42 weeks.

Update 2: I was indeed sent home this morning. I had contractions on my own all night at 5 minutes apart but nothing major. When they checked this morning at 7 am I was 3-4 cm and 75% effaced. He was a real jerk. Doctor told me "don't bother coming back unless you're in labor" and claimed he doesn't know why my midwife induced me before my EDD. FYI I have had increasingly high BP and LO kidneys continue to get further dilated every day. I go to an office where you see whoever is working that day, they have 4 doctors and 2 midwives. My midwife cried when she came in this morning (on her day off) to see me. She feels he's making the wrong decision but he pulled rank on her.

Well that's just weird that they started inducing and then Will send you home. That makes no sense. They should keep you because the meds can lower baby's heart beat. I hope you start on your own soon. Good luck.

That is crazy! I've heard of induction taking up to three days to work for many people and they were never sent home. Hope it all works out before they send you home, sending T&Ps your way!!

Ok cervix, get to work. But be thankful they are willing to pull back and try another day and not force a section on you. Good luck

That doctor is a creep. When you go back in do you know if you will have to deal with him again? I hope that you get someone you are much more comfortable with next time.

@Cagoldi I'm not sure. My midwife wants me to come back into the office on Monday where we can decide what's next. Hoping we can find something out then.
