Piriton?

I've been having the worst itchy skin for weeks now, it's driving me nuts I had a blood test to rule out OC came back my blood was normal.
Widwives tell me I can use piriton but the pharmacists basically refused to sell it to me.
I'm reading you can then you can't take it, so i don't know.. Nothing else seems to be working though.

Does anybody take it?

I have no experience with piriton but I totally misread this as pitron and became intrigued.

Don't know. I've had the worst luck with any kind of med to stop itching. I recommend an ice pack to the area from my own experience.

Being on Magnesium I get terrible itchy skin like ants are crawling all over me. I've been given some calamine lotion. Piriton did nothing for me.

Sounds like PUPPS? Have you tried other types of antihistamines, like Claritin or Zyrtec? They are considered safe (category . Also, you can use that along with a topical steroid, like over the counter hydrocortisone (category C).

Edit: your dr can also prescribe hydroxazine. I've used a combination of these things on patients, and they usually help.

Hope you find some relief soon! Good thing is, this resolves with giving birth.

I do not know, but I feel you on the itchy skin!  I was tested for cholestasis on Wednesday... still waiting for the results.  Sorry you are going through this, it is horrible!
