IUD vs. Nuvaring

Hello ladies!

I currently have the Mirena IUD and i've had it for about two and a half years. I have always had pretty bad cramping with it, but no periods at all.  Occasionally I think I can feel it poking around if I sit or lay down or even walking. I'm just tired of it.

I can't be on the pill because it gave me papilledema. 

I've been thinking about changing to the Nuvaring. I don't know anyone personally using them so I thought I would ask on here. 

You do you think about Nuvaring? Is it easy to insert and remove? Can you feel it throughout the day or during intercourse?

In addition to what @Joy2611 said, the mini pill (progestin-only) has a higher dosage of hormone than Mirena so symptoms can sometimes present stronger with the mini pill and Implanon than with the IUD. Unless you want to go with a barrier method, your other non-dual hormone options are Implanon and Paragard.
