Black Cohosh?

Have any of you heard of or tried it? A nurse that volunteers at the local health food/vitamn store told me that it really helps with labor. Of course I will still ask my Dr about anything that I could possibly try but I was just wanting to get some stories/experiences from you ladies! Thanks in advance.

Oh...and I'm only going to try things like this if I go past my due date again to keep from being induced in the hospital. Thanks

I did acupuncture to avoid induction and went into labor after three days in a row of 1+ hour sessions. None of the other labor inducers worked and I tried them all except black and blue cohosh and castor oil b/c I read bad stories not the Internet about those (just googling around) so I wanted to avoid! Acupuncture may not work for everyone but my therapist worked Closely with my MW and it worked for me!
