Q in regards to applying for jobs

I've only recently started working again, after being a sahm for a year. And when I say recent, I mean I've only been working since September. The job I have now is ok. I feel as though I am working at a lower grade job than what I am qualified for, in return my work hours are quite desirable for my particular situation. Anyways, there's a job opening at another company that I am very interested in working for. I know the two month employment history, followed by a year of unemployment, doesn't exactly look great on a resume. If you were in my situation, would you even bother applying?

Re: Q in regards to applying for jobs

  • No one will ever know you worked there if you don't tell them.

    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

  • You both bring up good points. I'm kind of torn if I should list this job on my resume or not. The company I currently work for is very influential in the city I currently live in. My current job, unlike the company, is only so-so. I think it would be a huge resume booster to list the job, if only I had more vested time.
