How long does your LO nurse?

My DD is almost 9 months old and she has recently had much shorter nursing sessions. She has had reflux issues (she is on medication for it) so I am just trying to determine what is normal or if it could be reflux related. I know that as babies become more efficient at nursing, they can do so more quickly, but she will sometimes only nurse for 4 or 5 minutes on one side and then maybe a minute or two on the other. Is this normal? Please share how long your LO nurses for at this point. Thank you!

DS just turned nine months and nurses for anywhere from 5-10 minutes, usually shorter in the morning/afternoon and longer in the evening/at night. He's been this way for probably the last few months.

dd nurses for 3-5 mins a side. Her last feed before bed is usually 5 mins a side. She has always been a short nurser.

Same here, both my kids were always quick nursers but they drenched diapers like crazy.

Depends on the time of day, anywhere from 3 minutes to 15. She nurses more at bed time, morning, and mid afternoon. Then she does 3-4 shorter ones through out the day. I'd like to eventually cut those shorter ones, but she likes them and signs for them.

10 months in a few days and nurses 5-10 mins. She has only ever done one side per feeding.

This. His longest sessions are first thing in the morning and right before bed, but even then it's typically less than 10 minutes, total.

Depends on what is going on around us. At night she'll nurse for 10-15 minutes, but usually it's more like 5-10 minutes.

I'd say 5-15 minutes. I'm fuller in the mornings and she tends to take significantly longer but at night she seems to just want to suck and go to sleep quickly.

As with PPs just depends on the time of day - when she's sleepy she will fight to stay on the breast but otherwise she just nurses for a few minutes to top up and wriggles her way back down to the ground so she can getting crawling again.
