I posted last week about language development and you all calmed any worries I had. My question is more one of curiosity and to make sure I am doing things "right" as a FTM. My son is saying a few words and has great receptive language. I was wondering what kinds of things they have you do in speech therapy to help the LO's start to talk. DS seems content not talking even though he can and is starting to mimic us a bit more but I was wondering what things I could do to help him along at his own pace. I already say things as I am doing them (here is your red cup or get the blue ball) and try to say words slowly. Is that right? I've never done this before obviously so I just want to make sure I'm not goofing up!
Thank you :-)
Our little hippo was as impatient as mom!
Hoping for a full 40 weeks!!
