AF, don't F with me

So I am 14 DPO today. My LP has always been around 12-13 days. Once when we were TTC our son, I think I had a 14 day LP.

Our timing was poor since I had been traveling with DS to the states, and DH and I literally only had sex once this cycle - the day I came home, which I think was the day after O. I don't temp anymore because it makes me nutso and didn't do OPK's because I figured it was pointless if I couldn't have sex.

So stupid me gets my hopes up and tests this morning. BFN, duh. I only tested because 14 DPO with no AF was just weird. I have cramps, too.

I guess the lesson is I should temp? I don't see what it adds I O every cycle, but my eggs are crap. What a mind F :(

    And, of course, about an hour after I typed this, she arrived. I am actually relieved, I was worried I was going to skip my period or something..

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    The only lesson from temping is to know what day you actually O'dso you don't get excited with a longer LP when in fact you just O'd a few days later... I know you haven't had yor FSH retested in recent time but It seems for me that I can O on Cd 14 and then cd 7 the next month. It is varying all the time now... Maybe your body was just confused with all the time zone changes, lol!

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    I'm new and just started lurking here. Was considering a similar post- sorry to hijack! I feel your pain. I am normally regular and this time I was one week late. :( I finally confessed to a friend and then started when I got home. Mother Nature is pretty irritating. Good luck next round!

    stress delays O'ing not Af, but I can;t say anything better then McIrish did....I do temp because sadly I don't always O so for me its a guessing game is my cycle going to be 34 days or 50.

    My Ovulation Chart


    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    How stressful.  I'm sorry you had a BFN.  I'm delayed with my cycle by 24-48 hours every time I travel.  Even if it's an easy, stress-free trip... for some reason travel really takes its toll on me.

    And I am not having it retested. I can't deal with the bad news. I know it will be worse, I mean, two and a half years have gone by.

    What is odd, is my cycle is MORE regular now - my O date the past four cycles has been CD 13 or 14, and it varied much more when we were TTC before.

    Oh well, onward. I am not really expecting a BFP at all, especially w/o treatment, but I can't help but try.
