What are the odds of miscarrying 2 cycles in a row?

After multiple losses I am trying not to get too excited. 5 weeks and 3 days so far. I feel like its a countdown. 1st prenatal appt on nov 11th. They didn't rush me in for appt till I had a couple of betas. They are definitely rising. Do you think I should ask for another beta to check? I had a pregnancy end at 4 weeks in September and immediately got pregnant the very next month. I think this is the farthest I've been in a pregnancy. The 1st miscarry was missed and when I started spotting I had ultrasound that said I was 4 weeks pregnant. Of course the doctor argued with me that it was a healthy 4 week pregnancy after I told her I was 7 weeks pregnant. I can see being a week off or so but 3 weeks is a big gap. I've also been considering leaving the office that I have been with for a long time and finding a new obgyn. Most of the nurses aren't very nice. Some days it feel pregnant and some days I dont. Waiting to see is a littles stressful.

I don't know what the odds are, but I lost my 1st pregnancy 13 years ago around 6-7 weeks or so, and had been terrified that after I finally DID get pregnant again, the same thing would happen.  Here I am 14 weeks with twins after IVF, and everything still looks good.  Also, don't worry about the symptoms - I had hardly any symptoms at all until 7 weeks - then the nausea hit full force.  At 5 weeks I felt perfectly normal, just maybe a little hungrier than usual.  Over on the PAIF board I saw a lady post a mantra that helped her - "Most pregnancies end up as babies."   I wish I'd had that to help me up to this point.  Glad for both of you that you're expecting rainbow babies.  FX and prayers for you, and so sorry for your previous loss.

I did leave that doctors office and had my 1st appt at new doc today. Ultrasound next wed to check for heartbeat and my cervix. I had a procedure done that could be causing m/c. She said they may have to stitch my cervix if it's too short.
