Any new updates? was diagnosed with anemia and started taking iron and feeling soooo much better, dizziness and palpitations are almost gone.
When is your next appt? thursday have GTT and OB appointment and next week is growth scan for MFM.

I had my 13 week appointment, my DD (2) came and loved it. My OB did an ultrasound so DD could see and she felt my tummy with my OBs help. It was nice. Babes heartbeats are doing well and look good.
Anatomy scan and perinatology appointment in 5 weeks when I'm 18 weeks! It's a long time, but since I"m doing well OB was okay with that. After that it's every 2 weeks alternating between OB and perinatology/ultra sounds until I deliver.

We celebrate christmas and will start decorating thanksgiving week, mainly because I'm off the whole week and its usually when I have time to actually get stuff done. WE're hosting a cookie and santa party for our friends' kids (my dad dresses up like Santa) so the week before that will be busy baking a lot of cookies and decorating for that. My parents are hosting christmas so we don't have to do much. I want all my christmas shopping done by the first week of december if I can.
We're hosting thanksgiving so most of the week since I"m off will be spent prepping and cleaning (and doing a lot of work on the nursery).
I love Christmas but usually am a pretty late shopper! I need to start before I get too uncomfy lol!

Any new updates?
Well I had an appointment today with the perinatologist and then my OBGYN. My twins have gained about 1 pound each in just 5 weeks. They are now 1 pound 5 oz and 1 pound 6 oz. This puts them still in/above the 90th percentile. But they also have extra fluid that is causing a concern. This extra fluid means the placentas are working overtime and they are concerned about placenta rupture. They are also concerned about pre-term labor too. With that being said, I am now going in for weekly checks with the perinatologist for the next 3 weeks at least and every 2 weeks with my OBGYN. I can't lie.... I am a little worried/concerned! Positive thoughts would definitely help!!!!

I start planning my shopping ideas/lists like now but usually don't start until about after Thanksgiving. We put our tree up right around/after Thanksgiving too.

Any new updates? Baby A is falling behind her sister on weight gain (3lb 11oz last Thursday) and Baby B 4lbs 8oz. I was taken off my restrictive diet and told to EAT so we can hopefully put on some weight on A before my next appointment in 3 weeks. Since my diet change I've put on like 5+ pounds and notice now that my feet may be swelling. May cut sugar and carbs again and just make sure I eat lots more protein.
When is your next appt? Regular OB appointment tomorrow and NST at MFM on Thursday.
QOTW : If you celebrate a winter holiday when do you start preparing/shopping/decorating? We celebrate Christmas and our tree usually goes up a few days after Thanksgiving. I would have already started shopping but I can't since I'm on MBR. Adults are getting gift cards and I'll order toys for the kids online. Currently working on our Christmas cards which I plan to send out a few days before Thanksgiving.

No real updates, just found out we were having twins on Friday and we're really excited! We got to see the heartbeats flickering and that was the highlight of our whole weekend!
Next appt is on Monday when we will graduate from our RE and measure the HBs.
I start shopping for Christmas usually about now, start decorating Dec 1st. LOVE the holidays!

I'm starting to outgrow my maternity clothes from my singleton! I'm only measuring 3 weeks ahead but neither DH nor I think I was much bigger with him than I am now. Otherwise just cruising along.

We celebrate Christmas. Shopping and decorating usually start right after Thanksgiving, but we're moving our timeline up this year. We're going to start in the next couple of weeks because we're going to be gone the whole week of Thanksgiving and we want to come home to a decorated house. This will be my last visit with family (a fun 10 hr drive away) so we're going to do Christmas then too. That means I have to get at least half of my shopping done by then!

Ctx at night. Still nauseous. Vomiting has stopped. Food aversions still and it's driving me nuts to still only be able to fully "eat" chicken broth. Ugh

Had surgery last Friday to remove lymph nodes in my right armpit due to cancer. Babies and I came through just fine! My MFM doc and nurse specialist visited me post surg with a dopler and two little heartbeats were going strong! Was well enough to be discharged from hospital after just a one night stay and have been recovering at home with just a little tylenol for pain control.
In pregnancy news, still nauseous and taking Diclectin 3-4 x daily.
Next appts: MFM Nov 12 and ultrasound Nov 26 where we hope to find out the sexes!!
QOTW: i shop throughout the year when i see sales or a particular item for someone on my gift list. We usually start decorating around the first week of December. Hubby and i are having a quiet xmas this year marking our last as a couple without kids. Already looking forward to the years to come celebrating the holidays with our twins

Any new updates?My ankles are so sore from carrying myself around already.. Getting an incredible amount of work done around the house in preparation to be shut ins come December with these babies, but there is still a million other things to do and I just can't do any of it on my own!

Usually December 1st, but I've insisted to DH that we should put up our tree earlier in case the babies come early (which I'm sure they will... the second we open the decorations!). No gifts this year since I will have been on sick leave for almost 3 months and can't afford much more than groceries at this point!

Any new updates? Starting to hit a wall. I cant really walk very far without getting extremely winded. Last night I was laying on the floor of DS's playroom reading with him and when I got up I was extremely nauseaous and light headed for like an hour!! It was so weird!
When is your next appt? I have an endocrinologist appt. today and a growth scan on Thursday!! Cant wait to see how much they have grown in the last 4 weeks!

Any new updates? Sciatic nerve pain is gone!! I can't believe it. Makes me feel like I can go on whereas last week it was just getting worse and worse and I had really hit the wall. My husband's uselessness and laziness is really getting to me, we haven't done JACK for the nursery (which he has used as his storage space for 4 years) and he just sits in there every night playing x-box. I asked him what he wants to do with the coffee table that is in there and his suggestion is to put it in the hallway (which all guests can see and we would have to look at daily!!) I am just so freaking fed up with this crap.
When is your next appt? Two appointments (OB and MFM) on 11/12/13 - easiest date to remember!
QOTW : I celebrate Christmas and I usually procrastinate and start getting ready around the 10th or so, but this year, I am so on top of my shopping list, since I want to order it all on line and have it done before I am useless (well...that ship has sailed, maybe EXTRA useless?)

Any new updates? I feel like I went through a growth spurt in the past couple days. Last night I couldn't sleep because I was so uncomfortable and today I can't get comfortable either. Guess I need to start getting use to this though right?
When is your next appt? My next OB appt is November 14th! Can't wait to see my little girls on ultrasound again!!
QOTW : I'm really excited about Christmas this year! Although I know it may be a little different since I'll be starting my third trimester the first week in December. We normally cut our own Christmas tree, but not sure that will happen this year. Maybe a Charlie Brown tree like some of you have mentioned! Lol I've already started my shopping, so that helps a lot! Hopefully I can get most of that done within the next month! And I'm stoked for Christmas music!! Love love love!!
Last night I was convinced that I'd be in labor today. A few real good contractions and crampiness all night, not braxton hicks. My OB said I'm 2cm dilated, but when I told him that I was experiencing some real contractions he told me not to bother making an appointment next week. Yikes! Then when I went downstairs for my NST I was having contractions every 8 minutes.
But I feel like it got jinxed somehow, because as soon as I got home from the hospital, I stopped feeling them. So ... who knows when these kiddos will come out. I'm ready when they are ...

Any new updates? We had a great appt next week and my little twin "A" caught up his 27% discordance in 2 weeks. I was soo happy!
When is your next appt? Friday. We are doing a fluid check and will be talking about going back to every 2 week appts instead of weekly as long as everything is good!!

We celebrate Christmas and hopefully will get the tree up on Black Friday. I use to go shopping on Black Friday but don't anymore since my singleton was born 2 years ago. This year is my husbands year to decorate the tree. He has Star Wars ornaments that he has collected since he was a kid and we alternate decorating the tree every other year with our own ornaments.

Nausea is much better but still really tired and my whole body aches.
First appt with MFM is tmrw, and I am super anxious. Just want to see those two little heartbeats. They will determine if my pregnancy is high risk.
Have been brainstorming Christmas gifts in my head all day. Need to get started. We will probably get a tree and decorate the weekend of thanksgiving. Looking forward to the holidays this year !

Any new updates? Had my first meltdown last night! I feel like all I am doing these days is forcing myself to eat as much as possible as often as possible so I can gain healthy weight. My body isn't mine any more and it's feeling really difficult to feel like myself.

Any new updates? Had a couple bpp ultrasounds on sat and again on mon and both babies got 8/8! Yay! Still growing and looking good. Estimated 5lbs 9oz and 5lbs 15oz on Monday. Big boys! Had a cervix check and it is still fully closed! Dr thinks I'll go until 38 weeks! Woah! Definitely feeling the weight of 12lbs of baby on my hips and back
When is your next appt? Week from tomorrow to do another ultrasound and bpp. I'm hoping the decide to come on their own sometime next week! I want to meet them already!

Christmas, generally not until December (I'm a procrastinator…)!
We are something like 30.5 weeks now.
MFM growth scan last week, and we are now slated for scans every 2 weeks. At some point in the very near future we'll go to every week.
Cervix scan was a bit alarming, and it indicated "funnelling" which can be a sign of pre-term labor. But the cervix itself was 2.75, and according to the doc, if it's over 2.5 they are not concerned. We are still concerned
.
So DW has been trying to take it much easier the last couple of days. Not on bedrest yet, but I'm going to guess bedrest will be ordered at the next scan. Modified bed rest could be ordered at the OB appt this week actually.
In other news, we are also now a "van family". Purchased an Odyssey yesterday. It seems to be the only van that reasonably accomodates three carseats. DW gets the van, I lose my little hybrid and get the SUV.
