Fitbit?

Anyone using a fitbit?  I'm debating whether I want to join the trend of my friends who have them.  I see on their website they have the Force and the Flex, with the Force being more expensive but the only reason I see is that it counts stairs??  Those that have one - does it encourage you to move more?  Do you really wear it 24/7?  Anyone on Weight Watchers using one?

Re: Fitbit?

  • I've had the One for almost a year.  I love it!  It keeps me honest.  I will go out of my walk to get extra steps.    I chose the One because it can be discreet.  If I wear a dress work, I can slip it in my bra and it can't be seen.  I didn't want to wear the plastic bracelet every day.

  • I also have a fitbit that I use every day. It really does inspire me to walk more and I love it.

  • I use the ultra and I love it! It makes me move more because you are ranked against friends. I think it's a fun game.

Isn't it funny how that works? I have "friends" on mine from my spark people account. It's funny that I get competitive even against strangers.

I've got a Fitbit One that I use that tracks all the same stuff as the Force as far as I'm aware. I'm not going to be really pushing to change much for several weeks because I'm about to have c-section #2 on Monday. However, I like it because I'm using it to get an idea of the patterns I have and how my sleep patterns are (I have sleep apnea on top of being 9 months pregnant and super uncomfortable). When I'm cleared, I'll be going back to weight watchers and using the fitbit as well. I'm super excited to be getting back on track with all of that.

I will say I got the one before the Force was available, and if I were to get one now I would probably do the force, because the sleep wristband for the one kind of stinks and doesn't always hold the device in very well. I have to keep checking when I wake up in the middle of the night.
    NOPE.
