So, I'm on the fence about this one. DH and I cannot agree on a name. Several of us came up with the name Leonardo to go with our "Spain" Spanish last name. We'd call him Leo, which is actually my nickname. My name is pronounced Lee-ah-na. Our first son has DH's MN, so it would be kinda cool to have our DS2 named after me. I just don't know how Leonardo would fly at school. I wouldn't be worried about Leo at school though. Any thoughts from you guys?
I also love the name Easton Quinn (Quinn after Step-Dad), which is not Spanish, but I still love it. The only problem is that DH is not sold at all on it. Suggestions would also be helpful. Maybe you can think of something we have not yet.

**RATE A NAME HERE!**
Personally, I wouldn't use it because it just brings up so many other connotations (I know that sounds weird). I immediately start jumping from DaVinci to the Turtle to DiCaprio)
I have a Spanish (from Spain) last name too-- and I also have Leonardo on my long list. I think it might be too much with your LN, honestly, if your LN is pronounced exactly as phonetically spelled in your OP.
I am not sure how you could tease a Leonardo based on the name alone, but maybe there is something I am not thinking of.
Easton is OK.
Other names we have on our list are
Joaquin
Hugo
Oscar
Dominic
Luca (love, but can't use)
Francisco (nn Frankie)

Leonardo is NMS, but it's a fine name. I don't think he will be teased in school. I know several little boys named Leonardo nn Leo. I love that he would be named after you. I don't care for Easton at all.
Leonardo Quinn is a great name.

DH and I are currently having the same debate. We went back and forth on Leonardo vs. Leo, as we have a long italian last name. I prefer Leo on its own, as I think it is too much of a mouthful with a longer last name.
I also prefer Leo/Leonardo to Easton.
@MrsKTen I'm glad I'm not the only one having this discussion.
