Wishing there was more!

I finally worked up the courage to go back to the hospital and pick up the CD of ultrasound photos we requested from the records dept.  They are the ultrasound pictures from when I was admitted, and were the last photos of Jesse while he was still alive, the day before he was born.  I have been both dreading and looking forward to seeing them, but I am so disappointed!  It's such low quality that it is nearly impossible to decipher -anything-.  They took a million, and I was really hoping for at least one that I could add to a photo book, but there isn't.    Just one more reminder that I already have everything I'll ever be able to have to remember my Jesse by, there will never be anything new

I'm so sorry you don't have better pictures :-(. It is hard that all things we have of our Patricia fit in one box. It makes me think twice before complaining about how much stuff we have for our rainbow.

Two days before Devon died, I had an ultrasound to make sure I was OK after I fell. I got three pictures, but you can't make out anything at all. I still kept them, but I never look at them - I just look at the pictures the hospital took after he was born sleeping. I wish those had come out better, too.

***lo ticker*** That is such a let down. I'm sorry. I had the same reaction when I got home from the hospital and went through the little memory box they gave us and realized they didn't do handprints of Colton. That upset me because it was too late now and I didn't understand why they wouldn't just do those automatically. So sorry.

I'm so sorry. I feel the same way. The hospital gives out disposable cameras to families who lose a baby. We filled ours with pictures of Eli that I took while I had some time alone with him, pictures of my husband and our other son's time with him. We didn't even think to bring our own camera. When I went to pick up the pictures after having them developed, they told us the film was blank. I am heartbroken we only have a few pictures my husband took on his phone the night he was born. The hospital also took some that we will get next week, so there is something we can look forward to. I feel like no matter how many things and photos we have, its never enough.
