3U3?! ...but a little confused.

So... I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant.  This will put us in the 3U3 club which is giving me heart palpitations.  We were going to start trying about 6 months from now, but apparently weren't careful enough... We currently have a DD1 2y3m and DD2 (almost) 11m

Heres why I'm confused. I am still nursing so I haven't really had a cycle get back on track, but I did have my first full period last month.  That said, the first day of my LMP was less than 3 weeks ago - and a faint positive is already showing up on the HPT (twice).  Doesn't that timing not make much sense?  In the standard 28 day cycle, I would have just finished ovulating a couple days ago - far too soo for results to show up on a HPT, right?  Anyone have experience with this or is it just that there is no rhyme or reason because I haven't reestablished a cycle since DD2?

Also, any mommas of 3U3 that have words of encouragement I'd love to hear them :)As I said we weren't far off from trying for #3 but this is just a little early that "the plan" so I'm having to wrap my head around this...

With number 2 I had a positive test at 3 weeks and 1 day so no not necessarily too early. I'm in the surprise! Baby camp with you for number 3. It's sinking in and I'm getting more excited each day and coming to grips with the fact that the next year won't be going as I'd planned. Hang in there!

I had a BFP with (very much a surprise!) #3 at 3w2d. I don't think it's common to get one that super early, but it is possible. Mine won't be 3u3 - my oldest will be 4 a few weeks before #3 is born - but I'm just bracing myself for lots of chaos and little sleep

Cycles can be very irregular for a while.  It could be that you ovulated earlier than usual.  We are also in the 3 under 3 club.  Our oldest will turn 3 about 1 month after the baby comes.
