Ok, so I never really believed so called "pregnancy brain" was a reality. Not even 5 weeks in however and I'm starting to doubt my brain is still functioning at times. A prime example, my breakfast this morning. Decided to go for eggs and turkey sausages. Pulled the turkey sausages out of the fridge, sat them on the counter and went to grab a plate from the cabinet. As I'm grabbing my plate, I guess my mind just wipes blank and I'm thinking "plate, plate, why am I grabbing this plate out...hmmm...right, sausage". So I set my plate down on the counter and head back to the fridge looking for my sausages. It's a no go, I can't find them. I'm starting to get angry thinking DH ate them all, so I shut the fridge and turn to berate him only to see the package sitting on the counter. Yea...lol, I told DH and he thinks I'm losing it.
Please, someone set my mind at ease. Tell me I'm not the only one.
