grinding teeth

So my LO just cut his first top tooth (has had two lowers for about six weeks) and he has been grinding them very, very often. 

Does anyone else hear their LOs grinding? I am guessing it is just a way of exploring, but maybe its just the being of a habit of his.... thanks

Yes it is normal . Your LO is just getting used to his/her new teeth. I confirmed this with our dentist

Yep, DD does it all the time. Dr said she's just learning that they're there and once she gets used to them, she will most likely stop.

Exactly what PP said. I had to take DD to the dentist already because she chipped the enamel on her two top teeth and I mentioned the grinding. Her dentist said it is completely normal.
