I think she has a bladder/BM problem...advice please!

I dont post here often, but I need some advice. My daughter is almost 3 1/2 (just a few weeks away). She started potty training just after her 2nd birthday because she was showing interest. We have NEVER gone more than 3 days completely dry and thats a long stretch. She knows when she has to go, but doesn't always make it to the potty & she is really good at telling me when she has to go. She even wakes up dry almost all the time. (this is the part that throws me off). When I was younger I had bladder problems and even had special permission from my teacher to go to the bathroom without asking or else I would have had an accident well into 2nd grade. My mom has had surgery for over active bladder. I didn't really think anything of it at her 3rd birthday check up because I was 8 months pregnant and thought it was more for attention and that was even what her pedi thought too, but now her sister is 4 months old and it seems to be getting worse even though she is trying harder. Any advise about this would be great, I am not sure if I should schedule an appt with her pedi or go straight to a specialist or if she is too little, or if there is something else I should do.

I don't gave any advice but I would start with going to her regular pedi. Good luck!!

My niece had bladder issues at birth, including uti's. Pedi started with basic tests, then referred to a pediatric urologist.
