To have a baby in June and name it June? Just curious what others think. The meaning of the name is "born in June" so it makes sense, just wondering if it's corny.
My Grandma June's birthday is June 27th! Her first name is actually Evelyn but she goes by June. Since she still chose to go with her middle name when it was her birthmonth, I think that says something! June makes a great sibset with your first two, btw!
My name is April and I ALWAYS get 'are you born in April?' When I say no they are disappointed. Maybe your daughter can say 'Yes I am born in June' and it'll shut them up.
That being said, having a month name is really tiring, because everyone thinks they're the first ones to make a joke. There isn't a joke someone could say that I haven't heard. EVERYTIME I make a phone call and say Hi this is April here, they said 'no it's not! It's ____insert month here____'
I do think it is a bit corny, sorry. That and I like Maren better anyways. Is Maren June an option? I do not find it as corny if a June baby has June as a middle name.
Months are NMS because IMO it's corny if they were born that month, but then it seems an odd choice of name if they were not. It just seems to be a lose-lose situation IMO
Re: Also, is it lame
This dilemma is one of the reasons month, season, days of the week names are not for me.
