I am wondering how everyone feels about sibset names. Our DDs name is Basil, and maybe its just because I am weird, but I feel like another baby (boy or girl) should also have a shorter type name. I love names like Magnolia, Clementine, Delaney, Penelope, etc, but I just feel like they seem so long an flowy and fancy compared to Basil's name and it rubs me the wrong way. Maybe because Basil's name seems more like it would be a nickname or just a simple name. I dunno...
Our top choices are Ingrid, Violet, Olive for girls, and Milo for a boy. All pretty short and simple.
Would you think it's weird to see a sibset with Basil and one of those long fancy flowy names?
Re: Similar number of syllables/ similar feel for siblings?
I think that Magnolia is a little more frilly but to me Clementine works fine. It's only one extra syllable than Basil and it does seem more simple. Delaney is fine for me, too.

I think Magnolia or Clementine would compliment Basil nicely because they are also nature-y. I wouldn't think of the length of the names at all. I also like Violet with it.
While Ingrid is lovely, it seems an odd pair with Basil to me.

I'm kind of over the whole sibset thing; I still apply it on here when people are asking about names, because most of the time I don't have a strong love or hate for any of the names on someone's list, so it gives me a way to decide how to vote.
DDs' names have the same number of syllables and both end in A, but I don't think they "go" together. Monica is pretty traditional and normal; Tallulah is quirky and unusual.
I wouldn't think there was anything weird about Basil and Clementine, or any of the other names you mentioned. The difference in syllables would have to be REALLY pronounced for me to notice (like Bay and Alexandria), and even then I wouldn't think it was particularly weird.
I'd be more likely to think two names mismatched in style was weird (hypocritical of me). Basil and Ava, or Basil and Madison would make me wonder if each parent got to name a kid or something.
So I just read this! We agree!
I was going to suggest Willow, Maple and Cedar, but it just occurred to me that I think your LN is Brown. Is a tree name weird with the LN Brown? I guess that'd be up to you. I don't think it'd be a dealbreaker for me.
Maybe this is odd, but I think sibsets can sound better when they have different number of syllables. At least our 1st is 1 syllable, and when I play with different names in my head another 1 syllable name never sounds as good as a 2 syllable one. But that may just be because 1 syllable names can sound choppy anyway
