Dipping my toes in... (intro)

Hi ladies! I am a first time mama and 6 weeks, 1 day pregnant. Today's ultrasound showed two beautiful little babies! Though early, we were able to see their fetal poles, yolk sacks and their little heartbeats flickering like mad.

We struggled with infertility for a few years had just completed IVF last month. We put back two highly graded blasts, so we knew twins were a possibility. We're very excited that they're now going to be a reality :)

I'll be lurking here a bit as I try to wrap my head around life with multiples. Look forward to getting to know you all!

    Welcome! We too have struggled with fertility issues and turned to IVF. After transferring two 5-day blasts, we're currently 12.5 weeks with fraternal twins. :)

    5/17/13 BFP!!! 6/6/13 - OMG its TWINS!

    Josie and Lexie were born on January 4, 2014 at 37w2d
    Josie was 5lbs2oz, Lexie was 4lbs15oz 
    Both had a 9 APGAR score with no NICU time
    Planned unscheduled C-Section due to both being breech
    We all went home on Jan 6th, 2 days after surgery

    We also struggled and did IVF and are now pregnant with fraternal twins!  It is exciting after trying soo hard and soo long and not knowing if we would ever be able to have kids !  Now we have 2 on the way! Congrats to you!

    TTC SINCE 7/2010, BFP-10/2010 ended in miscarriage 11/2010 : (.....
    Progesterone level 4/2011= 11.29. SA normal. HSG normal.
    8/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 35,
    10/11 Clomid 50mg =BFN progesterone level 31,
    11/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 12,
    12/11 Clomid 50mg=Progesterone 31
    01/12-Break from meds-BFN
    Feb-cd3 blood work FSH(5), AMH(0.56) 02/12 Break....
    03/01/12-Clomid 50mg with IUI #1=BFN.
    04/01/12-Another round of clomid with IUI#2=BFN.
    5/8/12-Diagnostic Laparoscopy-found minimal endometriosis and small fibriod.
    June and July-much needed break
    August-Bravelle 75 with IUI#3- BFN
    September-Bravelle injects with IUI #4-BFP!! MC 10/7/12 : ( Sonohysterogram-Normal
    December- Bravelle(3 good follicles & E2 1252) with IUI#5 BFFN :*(
    July IVF #1- BFP! : )  Beta #1-245, #2- 703, #3- 1655, #4- 3553 YAY!  Praying and Praying this one sticks around!
                      1st U/S scheduled for Aug 23rd!

    We did IVF post tubal. Worked first time and pg with di/di twins. Congrats , mama!

    6/13: IVF #1 (1AA blast & 1BB blast) = BFN 
    8/13: FET #1= BFN
    10/13: FET #2= BFP!!!
