Intro

Hi!  I'm been lurking for a while now, and thought it's time to introduct myself.

I'm a SM, been with my H for 4 years, married for 1.  He has two kids from a previous marriage (they are the kids in my signature).  SS9 has high functioning autism, but is seriously the smartest kid I know.  SD7 is your typical girlie-girl.  Everything is rainbows, glitter and attitude!  They live with their mama in NC, and we're in MD.  Currently, we are TTC, so I'm sure that will add more fun to the mix!

No CO, which frustrates me.  But I just gently remind H when BM does something that a CO would help, esp with allowing him to call/skype.  We go down to get the kids for a weekend around their birthdays, switch years for Thanksgiving/Christmas (we get Thanksgiving this year).  We still go down around Christmas when it's not our year and get them after Christmas until new years.  I think we will be able to add another visit in the winter this year, maybe in February/March.  They come up to MD for a week in the summer, but I think that will increase to 2 weeks this summer. 

It's definitely a lot of travel, but I have family in NC too (60 miles away from ILs).  I've been trained in the 8-10 hour car rides my whole life.

About me: I'm a Math/Stats nerd, but I love to read, crochet, cook, eat, and drink wine. I also have a 3 year old puggle named Hunter, who is the laziest dog I know.
