About a month ago I had uncontrollable itching in my hands which turned out to be cholestasis! For which they put me on treatment and biweekly NST during one of my NST visits they did an ultrasound and noticed my water was extremely low I was at a 4.4 when the prior week I was in the 16 range. Needless to say I had to stay in L&D on 23 hour watch & hooked up to an IV. Next day they said my water had not broken so they let me go at 6.6 on conditions I'd drink tons of water & be on bed rest. Shortly after I developed pain in my right wrist which now includes my left as well doc said it could be carpel tunnel I can't even pick up my tiny 4lb dog without pain how am I supposed to hold my LO. Two NST visits later my water is coasting at a 6.5 so I will be induced on Monday Nov 4th my due date is November 25th.

Thank you so much for sharing I haven't meet or heard of a single mom with cholestasis none of my girlfriends with kids even knew what it was. I'm a little stressed I feel like the induction will fail not just because of the cholestasis but also my lack of water so I'm bracing myself for worst case scenerio just in case. I'm just happy to have my son here even if it's at 37 weeks. As a FTM it's definetly scary but just gotta stay positive and resting up. Even having a little movie/dinner date night with my DH the night before to calm the nerves.
